Nice, sturdy little roller that is easy to use and easy to clean. Just pop it into some 70% rubbing alcohol while you cleanse your face. I also wipe my skin over with a pad soaked in rubbing alcohol to de-grease and sanitise my skin, you do not have to do this, this is just what makes me comfortable and should reduce the risk of infection. Before using the roller, I ensure it’s completely dry. I use hyaluronic acid serum on my face, which I spritz with a fine mist of water to ensure the roller glides easily over my face. Once finished, I wash my face with plain water, then apply my nighttime serums as usual. The redness is usually gone by morning. I use mine once every 3 days.

I can’t review this derma roller too harshly, as it’s advertised for professional use only. However, if you're a first-time user considering it, there are a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, choose a smaller needle size—1mm is likely too long for beginners and may cause bleeding. I’d recommend starting with 0.5mm, or ideally 0.25mm if available. You'll also need to buy 70% isopropyl alcohol to properly disinfect the roller and clean your skin before and after use—this is essential for safety. In terms of build, it comes with a protective plastic case that keeps it clean and presentable. The roller feels high quality, the needles are intact with no signs of bending or breakage, and the handle is easy to grip. While there are cheaper options out there, this one is well worth the extra £2 if you're after reliability and quality.

Initially bought following beauty trends. I have no longer used due to concerns woth causing more damage to skin and lack of knowledge in most effective use. Otherwise, sleek design and easy to clean.

Fantastic for beard hair growth and to treat older stretch marks. My partner uses his with rosemary oil and has seen a lot of new growth in his beard. He is an Asian man who typically struggles with facial hair growth. I have been using mine with Tretinoin for stretch marks. I can already see a difference after 4 weeks! Remember to sanitise your rollers with rubbing alcohol and clean with a mild soap after each use to remove any dirt/skin cells!
