The rigid pattern helps you roll out knots and crack your back. I’ve tried other firm foam rollers before and this is the first i’ve liked. The first time i used it, it was very painful but each day it got better. I get bad DOMS from weight training so this is a great tool for me.

I am liking this roller. It is very firm material so be aware if you want something a little softer. I lost my original triggerpoint roller (black). I think I probably prefer the black one to this but the quality on both of them is excellent and they will last for years.
