SYNTHA-6 Isolate Whey Protein Powder, Vanilla Ice Cream, 48 Servings

This is a delicious way to add protein to your diet without adding carbohydrates and sugar. I work as a cardiac nurse and we can get pretty busy at work with limited time to eat. Bringing this along is a quick way to get some protein without the added carbs. Eating a lot of carbs make me feel bloated and uncomfortable so for me, the isolate is the way to go. It mixes very well and there is no aftertaste. It's only mixed in 6 oz of water so it can be consumed quickly and back to work I go. I've bought this several times and it's helped a lot.

I originally purchased the small, 7 serving container of this product. I was so impressed, I bought this large jar - which is VERY large. Comparing it to the other vanilla flavored protein powders I've tried; Isopure, Nectar and EAS - the Syntha-6 is BY FAR the best. It tastes just like a vanilla milkshake with no protein aftertaste at all. It mixes well with a blender bottle but I now use the Nutri Ninja and it's as silky smooth as a ready to drink protein product. In my opinion, the only thing better than the Syntha-6 vanilla protein powder, is the Syntha-6 chocolate protein powder. They are both great mixed with skim milk or cold water. I also like to mix a scoop of the powder into 1/2 cup of plain non-fat Greek yogurt. It tastes like a thick chocolate/vanilla pudding and boosts my protein intake even more.

Ok, Ive tried many protein powders over my years of training from way back in the 80's when you main choice was Weider brand and mostly used soy - OMG talking about choking down some horrible protein - anything these days are better then those days.... so due to all the great reviews , I tried this stuff - Lets just say - ITS TRUE - it is the best tasting protein Ive ever had - daughter and wife also agree. BUT , one little annoyance at least for me, gives the gas... sucks, I do take a lactaid tablet and that helps tremendously... Cant vouch for the ultra protein benefits , just trusting the label... If you want a great tasting protein then this is it that is if you have the coin --- Only other downside, its not cheap ...sucks!

I've tried many different protein complexes from different brands. BSN is by far one of the best for bioengineered supplements and their products taste great, too. The ISOLATE line doesn't taste quite as good as the regular SYNTHA-6, but still tastes great compared to other isolates. Mixing ability is average. I find that it helps to first pour one scoop into glass, add water or milk over the protein, then stir with a butter knife. Let stand for 2-3 minutes to allowing clusters to dissolve for a smooth, enjoyable texture. I recommend this product for those looking to gain lean muscle mass or for meal replacement/sustaining a healthy nutritional diet.

One of my favorite proteins of all time - and I've tried many. Having tried all three flavors, this vanilla is one of the better vanilla flavored protein powders. The chocolate is also good (but Optimum Nutrition also does a great job with chocolate flavors). The strawberry is okay if you like that artificial strawberry milk flavor. All three are very soluble, but I find the vanilla and strawberry much easier to mix with milk than the chocolate. All three dissolve very readily in water. Results are difficult to measure, of course. There are protein options out there that deliver similar or more protein per calorie. However, so long as you're not cutting, and you're still watching your macros, this is a great product.

Good product just artificially flavoured

The product was supposed to be the BSN syntha 6 isolate what i saw in the product description, instead of syntha 6 ultra premium protein matrix which they sent me. I don't know whether they understand the difference between syntha 6 isolate and syntha 6 ultra premium protein.

Chocolate flavor mixes well with water and the vanilla is best with milk. Taste good either way.

Not effective... bottle seal was open... upon that plastic wrap was attached with heat gun so user cannot identify the product...was open... worst product...
