9 Raffi albums have reached gold, platinum, or multi-platinum. Yes, 9! Kids love Raffi! This album went multi-platinum and is "must own" for very young kids. It's simply a masterpiece. Kids love Raffi! The variety of songs and sounds is clever. The arrangements are terrific and varied by the theme of the song. Raffi plays a kazoo on one song. On another we hear a flute or a French horn. On another we hear a jug. The duets with kids are terrific. It's funny, singable, thoughtful, and perfect for the very young. My DD loves this CD to pieces. We probably started playing this around age 15 months in the car. She loves it so much so that I need to order some other CD's because this is all we listen to in the car. I highly recommend this artist and this CD has some very fun songs. I have to admit we find ourselves singing some of these songs outside of the car. Although not by the same artist, I remember listening to a number of these songs around age 7-8 yrs. old (back when we still had cassette tapes) so I hope to get many more years of fun out of this one.

This album is amazing--still today. I "discovered" Raffi as a 30-something mother, and am thrilled. Some of the songs I knew from childhood, some are new to me, and all are completely delightful. Raffi's voice is warm and steady. The simple accompaniment is quiet at times, celebratory at others, and never obtrusive. The album is a treasure. We keep it going (in addition to Susie Tallman volumes and Jack Johnson's soundtrack to Curious George) as a daily soundtrack. My daughter (8 months) starts to dance and hum the minute it begins to play. She has heard it since she was about 6 weeks old. I love dancing with her and singing along as Raffi intunes, "The more we get together..." "Down by the Bay" is probably one of my daughter's favorites, and I love the sharing song.

Who doesn't love Raffi? My kids grew up listening to Raffi and Red Grammar! Now that I have grandchildren I purchased this CD for them to listen to when they are in my car. It's really difficult to find really good children's music. So often all I can find is Kidbop or Kidpop? Who wants their children or grandchildren to be singing those songs when they are toddlers or in elementary school?! My daughter would have a fit if I let the kids listen to that stuff!! So Raffi it is!! Funny that I still remembered all the songs even though it's been a good 25 years since I've heard them. My granddaughter is nearly three and loves to sing and dance along. I've found that some kids music is really fast and a little difficult for toddlers to understand all the words - with Raffi the songs were really easy for her to learn and keep up with. My grandson is not quite six months and he loves the music also. It helps him to stay happy in the car, especially on long trips. I loved that I could download the songs onto my computer... we can listen to the songs at home and not worry about having to remember to take the CD to the car and back.

My grandson Trevor age 2.4, has several songs by this artist. I try to make travelling in the car enjoyable for all of us. We have quite a collection of CD's and I rotate them occasionally. We travel in a group....his babysitter, myself, mommie (when she is not working), so its nice if we all enjoy the CDs. Well this would be high on our list of favorites. Itsy bitsy spider makes Trevor laugh, so of course we all laugh together. He is picturing this spider, from the floor, crawling up his legs, tummy, arms, etc. Its a silly, lovely song. Now a big favorite is old macDonald had a BAND....which instead of animals we hear musical intruments. Trevor listens intently to this one and usually have to repeat it over several times. Overall it is a CD that I would recommend.

After teaching preschool for 20 years & directing early childhood centers for 15 years I discovered that the children and staff never got tired of these silly songs! The children & teachers quickly learned the lyrics and enjoyed the songs. The giggles & smiles on all faces was gratifying!

My 4 y/o loves this. I think it's pretty good too and has some very catchy tunes. My only complaint is that there are a few songs where Raffi talks, rather than sings. I don't think that's much fun, but I'm a grown-up, so I don't think my son has noticed as much. Oh, I also think it's a bit short. We have a 10-minute drive to preschool and I feel like we can almost get through the entire CD in one day of going to and from school. Admittedly, my son can listen to this CD many times in a row--which I guess is why I wish there were a few more songs on the CD.

I have had Raffi music in my home for the last 30 years - my own 5 children have enjoyed his music and I have purchased Raffi CD's for all of my grandchildren as well. Raffi's simple yet interesting melodies and warm voice are like a cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter's day - comforting and delicious! Listening it to transports me to a time when my children were playing together and in the background was Raffi music and all was well in the world. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Love this CD

Finalement j'ai déjà toutes ces chansons sur un autre support. Je pensais que c'était un nouveau disque de Raffi. Je suis , donc, déçue.

We first heard Raffi in Canada many years ago. Bought this for our grandson (2) who loves them as much as his dad did.
