Excellent trimmers! Great Value!
Ok Just got my new clippers today June 26 2020. Was looking for a great tool that can cut my standard poodles & Doodles! The standard poodles have thicker coats and basic trimmers just bog down. Will post more photos but this is my Mekoo's before and after on a quick trim I did today on his face and feet with no guard. Plus I used the 9 guard and trimmed his body. Another trimmer I had would have taken hours to do the same! I have arthritis in my hands and this made the job so much easier!! Only charged for 2 hours and did the job no problems. Was actually very quiet too for a trimmer. Again will update more pictures and videos when I trim our cream poodle this weekend! He is extremely curly so hoping the shaver works just as good. It literally was so smooth with no guard on I was happily surprised. I don't like to pay people to do something I can do myself. I find that wasting money on a groomer is just wrong if you have the patience and time to do it yourself! ANYONE can do this! Take your time watch some YouTube videos on the breed you have and how to trim them! Even if you cut too short do not worry it WILL GROW BACK! Hope my review helps people to just buy it and try it. BTW this is my 3rd trimmer in 3 months been trying to find one that actually works on THICK POODLE COATS and I found a winner!!

Surprisingly good clippers
First of all, I'm not a paid advocate, just an avid Amazon purchaser. I bought these clippers a few months ago as I have two older dogs (yorkie and malti-mix) who no longer go to a groomer. (Older dogs who are high strung run a higher risk of seizures so I don't risk it). Anyway, I owned Andis clippers, which were very expensive but had given out). I was about to order upscale replacement clippers worth over a $100 when I came across the very good reviews for this product and decided to give them a whirl. I had planned to return them and order the more expensive ones if they didn't meet the mark. To my pleasant surprise, they actually do as good a job as the Andis (I actually think these make less noise) and they cost me 1/4 of what I would have paid. The kit is very nice and includes excellent sheers and a metal comb. The clippers have a chord and recharge quickly so you can go chordless when grooming which greatly facilitates the process. I have groomed the doggies a few times already and I must say, they come out looking almost as good as when I pick them up from the groomers since I take my time and they trust their mommy :-). Again I bought these a few months ago and am very happy with the purchase. Great bang for the buck. Hope the manufacturer hasn't compromised on quality since I purchased them as I don't want to steer other doggy parents in the wrong direction. Anyway good luck to you on your purchase and with your doggy-dos in future!

Worked well for thick hair and held charge
I'll be honest, I was pretty skeptical of this set of dog clippers and didn't think it would work well. Our dog is a corgi/terrier mix with a lot of thick long hair and it's a pain to cut. We typically pay someone to do it, but he is in doggy jail for being a bit too aggressive with the groomer (he hates it when I cut his hair as well and likes to growl). So that meant I had to break down and give him another haircut. The trimmers we've been using for the past few years are wired ones of a popular brand and they were becoming really dull and causing me to spend 2 hours cutting our dog's hair, not to mention they got really hot. So I decided to buy some new ones and was hoping to find some that could cut through his thick hair easily, hold a charge and not get hot. Well, again, I was skeptical about these - it wasn't very loud at all and that made me think it wasn't going to work well. But the first time I pushed it through his hair, it actually cut his hair with ease, much to my surprise. The attachment that left the longest length worked better than the shorter length one on the other brand, so that was impressive. It did seem as though it wasn't going to cut several times and I had to make a few passes. I don't know if that was because I was holding them incorrectly or if it decided it didn't want to cut at that moment. But for the most part, I'm happy with them. I was able to cut his hair in only an hour, so I cut it in half - would have been faster had he cooperated and not growled at me when I tried to cut certain spots. But the cut did look the best of all I've done in the past. And the charge lasted for that hour, so no complaints with the battery. For the price, it's a good value. If you have a dog with thinner hair, you won't have any issues. But if your dog has thick hair like a corgi, then these should work for you since they are heavier duty than most value-priced clippers.

I wish I had bought these years ago.
I spent hours reading reviews, comparing cost, all that. So much about these clippers made me skeptical. The size and especially the price. I have a beautiful 10 year old Airedale Terrier , I have always done his grooming myself. I have had a set of Oyster clippers from the time he was a pup up till now. I liked them, but the past few years they became undependable and his haircut wasn't always quite right, or completely finished for that matter. Once I received these and looked at them, I was really skeptical. I was certain this would not cut the course thick hair of an Airedale. They were fully charged when they arrived. The set;, scissors, comb, guards, all seems good quality. And when I actually turned on the clippers, the was no vibration and so little sound. I was sure these would be on their way back where I got them. I felt these clippers have no power, certainly not enough to clip my dog the way I wanted to. Much to my surprise, this was the easiest haircut I had ever given him. He slept through 80% of it and it was done on one charge. I have been an amazon customer for may years and I have never written a review on anything. I read hundreds of reviews before making my decision and I thank all of you for writing them. This was the best purchase I have make in a long time. Not just the price, these clippers are amazing. The time saved using these, Barrett did not mind getting his haircut so I didn't have to hassle with him. The clippers were so easy to maneuver and not one time did I catch a clog in the blade. I absolutely would not hesitate to buy these again.

Awesome clippers for an alternate purpose
I hesitated to write this review because I used these clippers for a wholly unintended purpose. If you're considering purchasing this item to groom your pets, don't read any further as I used the clippers on furniture. My cats practically destroyed the upholstery on my dining room chairs. (See the first two photos.) I chose a sturdy fabric ( a striped Paul Smith Maharam) but there's almost nothing that stands up to their claws. In the past I've painstaking trimmed the threads with a nail scissors which took about 4 hours for 6 chairs, then covered them with plastic which looks so disappointingly ugly after spending plenty on reupholstering the chairs (and just about everything in the house that the cats have shredded). This Thanksgiving we removed the plastic covers and left them off until after Christmas and the chairs were shredded again. I searched for an upholstery tool to shave the threads but there's no such tool available. I bought a lint shaver but it doesn't cut through threads. So I took a chance on these animal clippers after reading the excellent reviews. All I can say is, it worked incredibly well. I used the narrowest setting (which the clippers were already set to) and, using a steady hand and no guard, started shaving with relatively firm pressure. Even the tiniest threads were removed. No holes or nicks in the fabric. I used an upholstery brush (purchased on Amazon) to remove the shaved lint and threads. The chairs look great. The clippers also shaved some of the nap but that couldn't be helped. Unfortunately we have to keep the chairs covered when not in use but when we have company, we can simply remove and store the plastic covers and replace them when the company leaves. For those of you who are wondering why we don't just clip our cats' claws, we do try but the cats hate it so I've resorted to having them professionally groomed. Unfortunately their claws grow back to shredding stage within two weeks. This is the best solution I've come up with. BTW I learned the hard way that the one fabric that is truly immune to cat claws is Perennials Plushy (velvet). I upholstered a sofa and a chair with Perennials Plushy and they look as perfect as the day I got them. Warning: I would not try this on a delicate fabric.

Impressed!
I never leave product reviews but I had to for this item. Got it today and opened the package. I put it to charge for about an hour and decided to see how it worked on my Belgian Shepherd. He is all black with long hair and his butt always gets matted so that's why we bought this. My dog has anxiety and I have never had such an easy time doing anything to him as I did with this clipper. I had more expensive clippers before and the motor burned out on me because his coat is super thick (almost like a sheep). I love that this is cordless. It is fairly quiet, no loud "click, buzz!" Sound when turning on. My dog didn't mind it and got used to it after a couple minutes. It was not fully charged when I started using it but it lasted 2 hours of clipping my large dog. It left a very smooth result and it did not get super hot or jammed/clogged. SUPER IMPRESSED!! Even if it doesn't work the next time I go to use it, It was well worth the $25 because of the ease of use. It also doesn't vibrate a lot which is nice when you are using it for hours on end. Doesn't make your hand go to sleep. I will be buying another just in case.

DISAPPOINTMENT
If something sounds too good to be true...it generally is. I was amazed with the reviews of the wonders these clippers revieved, so decided to take a chance altho reason told me the reviews described performance not possible. I received the clippers yesterday and charged them as described. My dog is a Cocker Spaniel service dog (medical alert) and as most cockers has a very thick, long coat, which I try to keep trimmed short, not wanting to deal with 'floating hair'. The clippers performed decent on his face, neck, and legs, but when it came to clipping his body, failed miserably. Even tho his hair is relatively short as he is always clipped, they bogged down, due to the thickness and fineness, and the charge lasted only about 1/2 hour even tho they had been charged for almost 4 hours. Fortunately, I have two other sets of clippers, being VERY expensive top brands, but were old and beginning to fail in their performance. However they clipped the body quickly, and well. On a positive note, this cordless set worked well on his face, neck, and especially his legs and feet which are always a problem as my dog is not happy with his legs and feet being clipped. They were quiet and less intimidating to him. He is 12 years old, and a trooper at this, but like me, he is less patient that he used to be. So, I do this in two or three setting, so as not to try his patience. They will work well with my other two clippers, making things a little easier and quicker without the cord. With his age and mine (78 year old disabled woman), I do not feel it is worth spending $200 for another set of super clippers. Even if I had to purchase a set of inexpensive clippers each month, it would be less than taking him to a groomer for $60 -$75 a month. While definitely not a 'show clip' he looks good, and now that it is all over he feels good and prances around like a show dog...which to me he is and will always be...so they make clipping better, but are not the 'wonder' clippers so many were making them out to be...I will keep them as a supplement to my other clippers as I prefer to clip him as long as I can as opposed to the stress of him going to the groomer, as his 'job' is stressful enough...and he is the best dog ever. After this clipping, I took him out in public and as usual received nothing but praise regarding his attitude, manners and APPEARANCE...so while I can't give them a 5 star review, I will keep them as they make the total job easier...I just wish the review were more accurate.

Good Grooming Kit
I’m giving this grooming kit 5 stars. First of all, the shaver itself looks very sleek and nice. I bought the gold one. Furthermore, the shaver is cordless, quiet, and comes with 3 separate attachments, which is always a plus. I shaved my two Yorkie/Chihuahua/Pug mixed dogs in a little over 2 hours. The shaver did very well on my shorter haired dog and it was quiet enough that my dog didn’t have much anxiety. One of the biggest perks... the shaver doesn’t get too hot (only mildly warm). Now for my longer haired dog it worked good. I have to go over her coat a couple of times, but it did cut smoothly. Longer haired dogs or cats are just going to take a little longer. I did not have any problems with the shaver at all. No clogs. Nothing. One complaint I do have is that I bought these two days ago at a higher price and that’s irritating. Overall, I say buy this shaver. It’s a solid grooming kit.

Incompatibilité électrique
Bien qu'un drapeau français apparaisse sur la boite ce matériel est incompatible avec les prises électriques françaises; il est donc impossible de le brancher pour recharger la batterie !!!!!!!!!
