INSANE VALUE!! I bought this recently from the "used like new" section for only about 25 quid, this is insane, I mean yes it was missing a screw or two but still, for 20 quid, definitely worth getting. Feels rlly good, sounds great and has some serious heft.

This is definitely the best barebones I've ever owned. Weights a lot, makes any switch sound great and the feel is just amazing.

Who is it for? Searching for a great-quality keyboard can be really tedious. There are all sorts of options out there, with some budget-friendly that compromise on quality while others are way out of reach. Now that the custom keyboard market has expanded, there have been some excellent keyboards for first-time buyers looking to enter the enthusiast keyboard market, and the GMMK Pro is a great contender. What I Loved The GMMK pro has outstanding build quality. The keyboard is weighty and fully made of aluminum, it has a gasket-mounted system to ensure a great feel and sound of your keys. The stabilizers on the Shift, Spacebar, and Enter are pre-lubricated by Glorious which allows the keys to be smooth and consistent. Furthermore, it's a hot-swap board, which allows you to plug in various different 3 or 5-pin switches to test out the sound and feel! The assembly for the keyboard was very straightforward considering the entire board is already built for you, aside from having to add the key switches and keycaps yourself, this is a very quick process. As an added touch there is a tasteful amount of RGB on the sides of the keyboard that leaves a satisfying glow on your desk, and every key has its own RGB Led to emit light. What could be better While the GMMK Pro has great benefits, like most products there are some things to improve. Firstly, my GMMK Pro had over-lubed stabilizers. This means since there is too much lubricant pressing the key and releasing it feels very mushy, similarly, I believe my spacebar was over-lubed to the point that it actually sometimes gets stuck and I have to release it for a few seconds before it bounces back. Another thing Glorious has to work on is software support. While G-Core is a decent suite of options the user interface and experience are very clunky and too page dense. I'm not sure half the time if I'm editing the board or certain keys, or whether even the changes apply. The over lubrication is quite frustrating but that's probably unique to my purchase and likely won't harm most people's experience, but it should be rectified on quality control. As for the software, if glorious fixes it up a bit more you'll have a hell of a kit to start off with for the price. Overall Impressions For £150, this kit is an excellent choice for most people looking to enter the enthusiast market. There are better options however they're much more expensive. I think most people will be pleased with the GMMK pro for years to come if they own one! Score - 4/5 thocks ;)

I love the weight of it and how solid and heavy it is. First time building a mechanical keyboard and happy with the results. Although the stabs is abit over lubed but I’m sure I’m not the only one saying that, just a heads up.

Nice looking keyboard with a premium feeling. It is not comparable against the well know premium keyboards out there but it is definitely a good start for whoever is thinking to approach the keyboard world.

Comprehensive reviews. Now. I’ve had problems with Amazon themselves & the product itself. More so with Amazon. I first purchased the “white” ISO version (its silver), and It was uneven on my table. I returned it and purchased another white but ANSI version. The American layout allows for more customisation, so I opted for that. HOWEVER. When it arrived, it came in BLACK and ISO. I was so disappointed. A warning to anyone who buys this from Amazon: There’s a high chance you’ll be given the wrong colour and layout. Many other buyers have also complained about this. I should have read the reviews. Amazon offered to partially refund me for my troubles after some back and forth with the representatives, and being given false information. Nevertheless, I took a liking to the black version and thought it looked nice with my setup - especially with white key caps. NOTE: It’s very important to realise that you should not buy this keyboard if you expect an item which you can use after putting in switches and key caps. It requires *a lot* of modding to make it blissful. I knew this before purchasing, and I just love the side RGB that the gmmk pro offers - something competitors do not have. Its clean and sleek. The pre lubed stabilisers are lubed to the max. It was awful. I cleaned this off and applied krytox as usual and modded it with holee & bandaid. I added additional EVA foam (it already comes with foam) and also tape modded. I used Gateron milky yellows which were also lubed with krytox 205 for stems & housing and 105 gpl for springs (bag lubed). The result of my efforts were amazing. Im really happy with how it turned out. I only give it a 3* for the usability “out of the box”. But if you mod it correctly, it can be 5/5. Hope this review helps any potential buyers.

I think the best keyboard out there, hot swap, metal build, great layout, both UK and US layout and a volume knob which is also swappable. The only problem is its app designed for controlling its RGB which is terribly buggy to the point of being essentially unusable and the app's settings gets reset every time you open it, so memorise your settings before using the app!

The stabilizer are too over lubed which makes it very obnoxious when using it. Also for a keyboard that you are meant to open up from time to time I find it quite hard to remove the screws as they are screwed on too tightly which can lead to the screws being damaged in the process of trying to take it out

C'est le premier clavier mécanique que j'utilise, donc je n'ai pas de points de comparaison avec d'autres. Cela étant dit, j'ai eu beaucoup de claviers non mécanique avant. C'est un produit de qualité, vraiment lourd (ce qui est un avantage car il ne bouge pas sur le bureau). Les lumières fonctionnent bien et le logiciel est facile d'utilisation. La disposition ISO AZERTY a été reconnu directement (du moins je n'ai rien eu à faire) il est utilisable sans configuration préalable. La molette est sympa et fonctionne directement. La finition "blanc" est plutôt "aluminium anodisé gris métallique", ce que je recherchais. La finition est très belle, aucun souci de ce côté là. Et la question que tout le monde se pose sur ce produit : je n'ai eu aucun souci avec les stabilisateurs, ils fonctionnent bien. Les seules remarques que j'ai sur le produit concernent le logiciel: - La disposition montrée par le logiciel glorious en images est QWERTY ce qui ne correspond pas à ma réelle disposition AZERTY (ça n'empêche en rien l'utilisation du clavier ou la configuration des touches). - dans certains modes d'éclairage le clignotement de la touche Caps Lock ne se fait pas Je recommande ce produit

Das GMMK Pro ist für mich die perfekte Grundlage für ein hochwertiges, individuell angepasstes Gaming- und Schreib-Setup. Die Verarbeitung ist absolut top – das Aluminiumgehäuse wirkt massiv und hochwertig, nichts wackelt, nichts klappert. Man merkt sofort: Das ist keine 08/15-Tastatur. Was das GMMK Pro wirklich besonders macht, ist die komplette Modularität. Schalter und Keycaps lassen sich einfach austauschen, sodass man sich sein perfektes Tippgefühl selbst zusammenstellen kann. Ich habe meine mit Gateron Ink Blacks und PBT Keycaps ausgestattet – ein Traum beim Tippen und Zocken. Auch der Sound ist durch die Dichtungsgummis und das Gasket-Mount-Design wunderbar gedämpft, tief und angenehm. Die RGB-Beleuchtung ist kräftig und individuell einstellbar. Die VIA-Kompatibilität ist ein großes Plus, da ich Makros, Layer und Beleuchtung genau so einstellen kann, wie ich es will. Wer auf Custom Keyboards steht oder einfach ein hochwertiges, massives und durchdachtes Barebone sucht, wird mit dem GMMK Pro mehr als zufrieden sein. Für mich jeden Cent wert!

最初買ったのは不良品でした！重いですフルアルミ高級感あります私は黒を買ったのですが白っていうかシルバーもあるみたいなので、オプション品として枠単体で売っているみたいなのでそれが高い、もうちと足せば本体が買えますまぁ枠だけなら色々な色があるみたいなので買って付け替えてみるのもいい？

Ho acquistato la versione barebone usata, disponendo già dei Gateron Pro Black e dei Kaycap JakeTsai SA Profile Double Shot. La tastiera e' arrivata nella sua confezione completa di tutte le sue parti, e anche se "manomessa" nessun elemento era mancante o danneggiato. Anche la tastiera è come nuova, solo qualche impronta digitale. Deve trattarsi di una delle diverse (disponibili 6 al momento del mio acquisto) che sono rientrate per un problema di cui parlerò dopo. Il peso è la qualità che impressiona appena presa in mano. È la più pesante delle diverse che negli anni ho mai comprato. Non ha bisogno di nessun modding per "suonare" al meglio. Il peso del case e l'imbottitura interposta nel "wafer" ha un effetto smorzamento e assorbimento delle vibrazioni. Anche gli stabilizzatori sono perfetti, purtroppo lubrificati con un olio troppo viscoso e quindi tendono a non ritornare prontamente in posizione quando premuti. Il problema dell'olio troppo viscoso e' stato evidenziato in diverse recensioni su YouTube e quindi e' un problema noto, facilmente risolvibile se si e' un po' esperti in bricolage. Si puo' provare ad asportare 'eccesso di olio con un cotton fioc, meglio bagnato in po' di benzina avio. Nel mio caso questo approccio e' bastato. L'alternativa e' quella di disassemblare la tastiera (facile: vi sono solo 8 viti sul fondo), e pulire e lubrificare nuovamente gli stabilizzatori. In genere sono quelli dello spazio e dello Shift grande. In conclusione si tratta di una eccellente tastiera, di alto livello, che acquistata usata, ha un prezzo accessibile, disponendo gia' dei tasti compatibili e keycaps. Consigliata.
