The best I have ever used, got super thick toe nails, and occasionally a ingrown toenail as well, these are very sturdy and cut very easily, soak your nail and cut with ease, brittle nails zero issues, I’m very happy with these stainless steel thick and very well made cutters. I do recommend you get a pair. You will not be upset, they are awesome.

I have a lot of toenail clippers none are cheap these clippers are worth the extra money well made and machined easer on the hands and sharp buy the best first.

I don't think these are made for the everyday guy at home. The quality is superior, look is great, design seems OK. But they are not as easy for the person to use on themselves. Would be best if another person was using them to cut your nails or toes.

These clippers are precision built. If you are looking for clippers that are well made, accurate, and easy to use these are the right choice. Very happy with my decision. Recommend these highly for older folks like me.

Well, this compound action nail clipper looked like just what I wanted for clipping thick toenails. Unfortunately, it was so poorly made in some areas that it was only barely functional. When the cutting edges of the clipper were ground at the factory, a small burr was left on the outside surface. This made the cutters effectively dull. They were so dull that the skated off the first nail I tried to clip. I tried carefully stoning the profile of the cutting edges and that helped a little. I think the whole profile of the cutting edges is wrong. For $50, this is not worth bothering with. A conventional large nail clipper from the drug store works much better and has better mechanical advantage. See Revlon or similar. Oh, and the small hook that keeps the clippers closed is also made wrong. The hook is too sharp and makes opening and closing it very difficult. I filed that away, too, and that helped. But overall, as nice as this tool looks, it really doesn't work. Don't waste your money. Not recommended.
