I can't comment on the Shure mic, but the Rode PodMic mentioned in the title/description doesn't fit

Shure SM7db Microphone FITS PERFECTLY
This case actually fits the SM7db properly. It's important to note that the SM7db is about 1/3 inch longer than the SM7b. Other slightly smaller cases that were designed to hold the Shure SM7b microphone leave a lopsided dent in the Shure SM7db foam pop filter. The is the only affordable microphone case I've found that properly holds the Shure SM7db microphone. I like the grey interior and that this case has a high quality YKK zipper.
