I have used Thinkpads since the mid 90s and the TouchPoint caps seem to wear out so fast or get lost. Cat runs across your laptop and somehow manages to catch a toenail in the cap and rips it off. I hate using the Touchpad so off to Amazon. It is nice to find replacements inexpensively and that shipped quickly. These havce a good feel to them. Not super scratchy sandpaper that can irritate your finger. Instalation is easy. Just pop these replacements on and you are good to go.

I have a Thinkpad P73 and after nine years the little red Trackpoint cap was worn out and needed replacing. Working directly with Lenovo Thinkpad retail and technical customer support, they were unable to direct me to the correct size Trackpoint cap. Incredibly, they tried to get me to replace the entire keyboard instead of replacing a $1 part. I took a guess, ordered these and they work fine. Maybe I'll need another in nine more years -- these Thinkpad business laptops just keep on going.

Fit perfect for my laptop

Fits well, works well, but be aware that its top a little bit smaller than original cap.

My old cap was worn down and gross. This was the replacement I needed. Old one popped off and this went right on. Please note that these are the thinner caps and may not be suited for the older style, thicker cap replacement, although they may still work (they will not go all the way down on old machines).

My ThinkPad X1 Gen 7 TrackPoint experience has been TRANSFORMED by this replacement, where my cursor is FLYING across the screen, and apparently my very worn out TrackPoint had been horribly underperforming for many months! NOTE: I was initially a little worried that the new TrackPoint wasn't going to fit, but it just needed a "good push" to seat it.

You know when your arm starts hurting from fighting the old one that it's time for a new one!

突起が小さく、指先に吸い付くような純正品の使用感はありませんでした。
