Omg!
This screen is nothing short of amazing! I've been hankering after an OLED gaming monitor for years but for years the prices have been too crazy. Ok let's be honest the price is still quite steep but no longer crazy. So I took the plunge and was not disappointed!

Massive upgrade from using a TV
After using a TV as a monitor for many years, this is a huge upgrade in every way. The high refresh rate and vibrant colours make even older games like WoW Classic look way better. Only downside to this monitor is it's auto-dimming feature, which can be a bit annoying when looking at more static screens such as code editors (isn't an issue when playing games though). Would definitely recommend

It's a good monitor
But tvs do it better these days. This has no dolby atmos signal for my beefy soundbar. The sound on the monitor is better than some.mid range tvs tho. Can't complain about the picture for gaming though. To big for a desk n chair

Brilliant and idotic - a somewhat mixed bag
This monitor is absolutely brilliant if you don't touch the settings: the picture quality is second to none. The truely black blacks, the glowing colours, the super thin screen. Because someone thought this through, there is a built-in KVM switch you can programme the remote for. That's something! I also love it's auto-dimming feature for bright content (like white Amazon pages), which makes it much easier on the eyes. Some of its features are questionable though. For example, it comes with a "space audio" solution that is certainly a cut above other monitors, but who needs it? If you have a monitor like this, you have a proper audio solution already in place (a Cayin high-end HiFi stereo system in my case). Who drops 1400 quid on a monitor and then listens to the tinny built-in speakers? Ditch the speakers, slim the case and drop the price. The mute function is laughably idiotic: push mute on the remote, and it brings up a menue that makes you select "mute on" with the arrow keys on the remote, and the confirm and exit. What's the bloody point of that? It's a mute butten, chaps. Push to mute, push again to unmute. What's so hard? It feels like someone with no hobbies other than programming menu functions was left unsupervised. Lastly, it takes ages to recognise a signal. In fact, it takes longer than the windows 10 resolution change time-out. So if you want to know if a changed setting works, you need to accept it and just wait half a minute or so. If the picture appears, you are in luck. If it doesn't, well, you're off to fishing in the dark. The LG C1 does that in a fraction of the time. As do most other monitors. What's it doing there? Running prime numbers? Bitcoin mining? Requesting clearance from air traffic control? Also no true HDMI 2.1. Why? Ditch the useless speakers for that feature. That said, if you are willing to put up with the idiotic features, you can't get anything better than this in terms of picture quality. The KVM switch is awesome. These features make it a keeper for me. The rest is a practical joke.

Perfect for gaming
It's quite an excellent monitor. The OLED panel delivers a near-instantaneous response time, resulting in crystal-clear motion with no blur behind fast-moving objects. It also has low input lag, and it supports both FreeSync and G-SYNC Compatible VRR. It has a fast refresh rate, and the large, high-resolution screen delivers an immersive gaming experience. It also has superb reflection handling and fantastic viewing angles, so it's a great choice for co-op gaming, even in a brighter environment.

Broken out of the box
The box was battered and filthy, the panel itself has a vertical green line running from top to bottom on the right hand side. Once powered on it, after around 30sec - 1min it goes into standby, occasionally it goes into one of the protection modes, (not sure which one as there is no way to know). the white status LED will just blink constantly for hours and never complete. BE AWARE - You can't update the firmware without owning a copy of windows or running windows as in thier infinite wisdom, gigabyte made the update software windows only.... Returned.

Poor execution
It is a great product from the hardware point of view. The speakers are good, the display panel is bright and with perfect contrast. However, the firmware is not good and ruins it: - the screen will start dimming when you are on somewhat static screens (e.g. Text editors or browsing the web) making usage for office work quite annoying. - PBP has very limited settings. You can only split the screen in half vertically. - Screen protection notifications will permanently be spammed every time you turn on the monitor even tho you let the protection run. - Adaptive brightness make the viewing experience jarring every time there are bright screens as it will instead suddenly dim.

Staggeringly good
This monitor is extraordinary. First out of the box I thought to myself "this is way too big" got it on my desk next to two 35" predators either side (which it dwarfs !) and still thought the same. Then I switched it on and starting using it, first thing I threw up tinkercad as I wanted to 3d print something for home and rotating a model in that huge space had me blown away. I immediately stopped doing that a fired up Farcry 6... it was jaw dropping. needless to say this thing is NOT going back. £1300 quid? yes it's expensive but I'd make the same choice again.. also has an inbuilt KVM which is brilliant.
