This sunscreen is excellent. I have vascular rosacea and reactive skin. Because my rosacea is made much worse by flushing in heat, it is very hard for me to find a 80 minute water resistant mineral sunscreen that does not trap heat by being too occlusive. This is definitely heavier than a daily use sunscreen, but it is much lighter than most of the mineral sunscreens I’ve used in the past. It has helped with my flushing so much, and it works incredibly well. I have used it exercising outdoors and multiple days in the sun on a boat with no visible sun exposure afterward, and no rosacea flare-up from flushing. It seems to do well being sweat resistant, but I do stick to reapplying after 80 minutes of water or sweat or two hours in general. Highly recommend this! Some notes: This does have a white cast. It’s not as intense as some mineral sunscreens, and it seems to settle into my skin after about 10 or 15 minutes. However, I am fair, so I’m not sure how it would settle in for other skin tones. Just a heads up. I used to use Babo Botanicals super shield mineral sunscreen 50 spf. It is a wonderful sunscreen for sensitive skin and for excellent sun protection. However, after a few years of use, the occlusive nature of the sunscreen made me flush a lot more. And it would stick around a week after. If you’re looking for something a little heavier and more moisturizing than the UV Pure, Babo Botanicals is a great option. For my daily sunscreen, I use ISDIN Efotona Actinica 50 spf, and I can’t recommend it enough. It is awesome! Especially for folks with rosacea and reactive skin. It has 40 minutes of water and sweat resistance, and it feels great on your skin.

I stopped using it for a while and switched to other formulas because I convinced myself that SPF 47 wasn’t high enough. Unfortunately, every other sunscreen I tried either broke me out or worsened my closed comedones. One of the reasons I originally stopped using this sunscreen was because it felt a bit drying. However, after adding more hydrating products to my skincare routine, I realized how effective this formula really is. It’s easy to reapply throughout the day, and unlike many sunscreens, additional layers don’t seem to clog my pores or trigger breakouts. Yes, it can feel drying and leaves a noticeable white cast at first, but in my experience the white cast fades significantly within about 20 minutes. It’s also a great value when compared to many sunscreens marketed specifically for the face. I’m extremely acne-prone and use this on my face without any issues. In fact, it’s the only sunscreen I’ve found so far that doesn’t aggravate my acne. While the initial price may seem high, you’re getting 4 ounces for around $30, which is much more product than many of EltaMD’s face-specific sunscreens. Honestly, I think it performs just as well on the face as some of their more advanced and specialized facial formulas. If you’re acne-prone and struggling to find a sunscreen that doesn’t cause breakouts, this one is definitely worth considering.

Great sunscreen. My skin is fairer- the white cast goes away nicely after rubbing it in well and waiting a little while. My face feels protected without being greasy or having that heavy sweat bead feeling of some spf. Really glad I found this, it’s easy to wear every day. I also think the vitamin C is working really well. I didn’t even realize this formula had vitamin C until I noticed my sun freckles fading away and looked through my products to see if any had fading ingredients

I’m using this product as it is listed as pregnancy safe. There aren’t that many sunscreens that are pregnancy safe, this is a decent option. The white cast is prominent in the beginning of application but fades with a bit of time. If you are sensitive to smells, this product does have a scent so be aware of that. Like other sunscreens, you have to make sure to shake the bottle to mix the product before you dispense it, otherwise it will be a lot of oil coming out. Overall it’s a decent sunscreen, but I probably would not use it if I wasn’t pregnant

This is what my dermatologist recommended. It is easy to apply. I use it almost daily. Doesn't irritate my face. Highly recommend.

Our dermatologist recommended EltaMD mineral sunscreen and I ordered this for my husband to use daily. After trying it myself, I find it an excellent sunscreen. While it does go on with a bit of a white cast, this fades as it is absorbed and feels nice on the skin. There is no sticky sunscreen feel, even after wearing for hours.

So far so good with this mineral sunscreen! I have have a photo-allergy with most chemical sunscreen ingredients, meaning once I step out into the sun, I develop a rash. The only sunscreen ingredients I can use without a reaction are Zinc and Titanium Dioxide. I have spend hundreds of dollars trying out different mineral sunscreen formulations, and have mostly been disappointed. I've never been burnt by one, but they ALL either are too hard to rub in, and/or leave a white/purple cast. Until this sunscreen, I had been using Juice Beauty Sport, which I appreciate the high % of Zinc in, but was always too greasy and left just a bit too much white cast. So far I am very happy with this formula, its scent-free, not too greasy, mineral-only, and does not leave a white cast when you rub it in! The price is also great, considering most mineral sunscreens tend to be even more expensive than this one. Im glad it has a good EWG rating, and is on the recommended list, but I do wish it was zinc only rather than a combo with Titanium Dioxide. That is my only complaint, otherwise I'm happy! **For reference, I have light olive-toned skin, so I am not sure how this would do on darker skin tones, but it doesn't seem to leave any sort of even subtle tint on my skin.

This sunscreen was recommended by Dr. Dray on youtube. I bought this for use only on my face. (I prefer mineral sunscreen for my face because I sweat and chemical sunscreens get in my eyes and it stings.) PROS This sunscreen works well. It is both rub proof and sweat proof as claimed and seems to do a good job of protecting my skin. (My complexion is fair to medium and tans easily. I go for daily long walks and this seems to prevent me from getting any color.) I have normal skin - neither dry nor oily, and I have not experienced any breakouts or other skin problems. It's a little more moisturizing than most sunscreens, but wouldn't replace moisturizer for those with dry skin. There is no noticeable fragrance. CONS Despite the "transparent zinc oxide" label, the white cast is INTENSE. It makes my skin glow a ghostly white in all lighting situations, and after exercising, it is even worse. (I assume that's because the sunscreen is coming up out of my pores with the sweat.) I mainly bought this because my regular tinted Australian Gold sunscreen was dirtying my mask and I wanted something non-tinted and lightly moisturizing. I'll finish off the bottle because this does the job and half my face is covered with the mask anyway. However, I won't buy this again. If we're still wearing masks by the time I use this up, I'll have to find another option that doesn't make me glow in the dark. This product is probably fine for kids and for the body, but for me, it's too expensive to use as an every day body sunscreen. I prefer less expensive chemical sunblock for that.

I've tried many physical sunscreens for oily skin (without alcohol) and I'll always come back to this. The best part is probably the transparent zinc, which makes the white cast hardly noticeable (I'm a fair-skinned East Asian) when set. Texture wise, it's not gonna be that gummy silicone paste that sucks your skin dry a la SuperGoop or Innisfree.

He probado varias cremas de protección mineral sin color, desde un avene leche mineral, grasosa y con feo aroma, isdin pediatrico de textura fluida pero muy muy blanca, umbrella mineral para piel sensible, dificil de untar y quitar, por ultimo colorescience corporal protege muy bien pero para retirar tienes que tallar bastante, todas dejan esa capa blanca, Elta md pure no deja ese blanco que se queda o transfiere en todas partes como las otras. Se absorbe muy bien fácil de repartir, la capa blanca es minúscula, soy tono morena clara, en una tez blanca no se notaria nada, no reseca y tampoco es grasosa. Si me la coloco en la cara con un poquito de maquillaje se difumina lo poco blanco que queda y no arde nada en los ojos. La recomiendo hasta en pieles mixtas y grasas, para piel seca con otra crema hidratante antes de usar esta bastaría. Cuerpo y cara es genial. No la he usado en playa, así no se si la resistencia al agua sea duradera.

Very nice texture as well compared to the Elements. Does leave a white cast but not ghostly white after rubbing in but then again it will depend on individual skin tones. For darker skin tones, not gonna work I'm afraid. For outdoor it works great and it doesn't break me out. Do double cleanse when removing it.

Me agrada que tienen los 2 minerales el zinc y titanio y en relación a costo y cantidad de producto estan por arriba de otros que tienen los 2 ingredientes, solo hay que untarlo bien para que se desvanezca y no se vea blanca la piel, muy buen producto
