It is really sour.

AWFUL
The first order I received was wonderful. None were broken and all were sweet, very similar to dates. Then the second order was awful. 2/3 of the bag were broken and exposed. The other third of the bag was sour, almost as if they were spoiled. I threw the entire order away. I will never order these again

Tamarindo from the Past
Great organic Tamarindo. Haven't had this for quite a while. Found this organic tamarindo and we made it. Time consuming but worth while. Will definitely buy more.

SOUR not sweet.
I’m giving 3 stars because they arrived all intact and are larger than others I’ve purchased. But these are SOUR. Sour overpowers any sweetness. For me, these are not editable. I’d give em away if I could get any one to take ‘em. But in all likelihood they’ll end up in the trash.

Beware sensitive teeth people
If you have any, I repeat ANY tooth sensitivity, DO NOT eat these. It will make you wish you hadn't.. I've been unable to eat anything or even brush my teeth because the highly acidic nature which will soften the enamel on your teeth . You have been warned
