I fractured 5 ribs and this has been a game changer during the endless recovery period.

I bought this to help me get in/out of bed after a major abdominal operation, and it has been very useful. Retracting one star because it’s a bit faffy to fit and you definitely can’t do it yourself after coming home from hospital so either need help, or ensure you fit it beforehand. Mine sits around the middle of my bed frame and lies next to me in bed, and has been great for avoiding engaging my abs too much. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

It's a little shorter than I thought but just about able to use to help getting up of furniture when secured well. It is strong and well made making it safe to use with confidence.

strong item, however, as no installation instructions I had to improvise. This resulted in me tying it to the end of the bed underneath, Ottoman bed mattress support frame at the foot of the bed and using a triple knot on it. Its sturdy but left me wondering what the two plastic flimsy buckles were for. I couldn't work that out at all. Its working and helpful.. as I am recovering from surge5ry so need the aid of this to side upright and lower myself to the top of the bed.. However, this has made it rather short.. the knots.. for my 5 feet 4 height. I am keeping it and it IS helping me a lot - no instructions are a big failure on this.

Having had a total hip replacement within the last week, I have had to make a few modifications to my home. Sitting up in bed was proving difficult. This bed ladder instantly solved any problems. Easy to install, made out of tough material, feel safe using it. It'll be necessary to check the straps over time as they'll inevitably loosen through use. Really pleased with this purchase which came up as Amazon's Choice.

very useful device and easy to attach to the bed - really helped my elderly dad to sit up and adjust his position in bed.

So disappointed in this. Got it for post c section to help get out of bed without rosking pulling. The smell of the plastic was horrible, we tried airing it, washing it ect and couldn't get rid of it. Even after we decided to not use it we had to get rid of it as the smell in the house was horrible, also came of on your hands when using it so had to wash your hands after every use (not helpful with a screaming new born). It was also difficult to install and the length was shorten than expected so provided very little assistance.

I absolutely love this thing. I got it due to a recent abdominal surgery but will keep it attached to my bed due to a bad back. I need to roll onto my side before getting out of bed normally to not set off my back pain. This helps in pulling myself up. It’s definitely a win. Was really helpful in my abdominal surgery recovery.

Important product when I had hip replacement. Almost impossible to get in and out of bed without it. Thank you for making this extra long one! My sister with Parkinson’s can reach it easier than regular one.

Does job well but wish it were slightly longer due to longer begs (assuming you tie it to base of bed to pull yourself up)

This could be a useful item. We are still working with how to best use it to help my wife get sit up in bed, etc.

Solid and stable attachments to bed frame. Easy to use and place within reach of user. They are made strong and with great grips. They have a nice clean appearance especially being they are always visible on the bed. The price was appropriate for the item. Two were perfect for assistance in sitting up and helping to roll onto ones side in a larger bed.
