This is a good quality item, recommended on the Sold Secure website as Pedalbike Gold standard. So far it seems straightforward. I've been using it all the time for several months, no sign of wear or tear yet, and it locks/unlocks easily. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be, it's easy to carry in my back basket or my bag. Has 4 keys (unusually) which seem good enough quality. So far I am very happy. You get what you pay for with bike locks, but some are nevertheless better than others. And this seems pretty trustworthy to me, on my expensive bike in a city where bike thefts are common and frequent.

Feels strong, and looks secure. UPDATE: Had an issue with the lock jamming after being used outside for a while. Lubricated with regular 3 in 1 oil helped but wasn't perfect. Customer support contacted me and sent a free lubricant spray (liqui moly, much thicker). This has worked really well on both this lock and my disc lock. Advise was to reapply once a year. Very good customer support!

There is no doubting the solidity of the chain. It's a heavy piece of kit. The issue that might just be a matter of getting used to how slack the locking mechanism is. It can swing shut before the link is inserted. The other issue is that the key slips out of the keyhole quite easily. The weight of a keyring is enough to pull it out. Minor niggles as long as the bike is always there when I come back to where I left it.

I recently purchased this chain lock with Sold Secure Gold certification, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. At 120 cm long, it’s the perfect length to lock both the bike frame and rear wheel securely to a bike rack or railing. This gives me peace of mind, especially when leaving my bike in high-risk areas. Yes, it’s a bit over 2 kg, so it’s on the heavier side, but that’s a small trade-off for the serious protection it offers. The weight actually feels reassuring—it’s clear this lock is built to withstand serious attempts at theft. The chain links and lock mechanism exude quality, and you can tell a lot of thought went into its design. 5-star recommendation from my side.

This company has fantastic customer service, the product is really good, my feed back would be for longevity add a small rubber cover on the key hole to prevent dirt, debris and water entering but other than that, really good.

This is just that bit longer than most comparable bike locks and its length should enable greater flexibility of locking up including the situation where threre are two bikes. It's heavy, but then you knew that. I can carry it round my waist if I don't take a panier. It's suitable for static use at home in a garage. The fact that there are 4 keys is great and lack of spare keys ruled out many other lock options.

Chain is long enough for my use, heavy but that was expected, very happy from purchase, time will show if it is safe enough :) (as for now would reccomend !)

This bike lock is very good! As somebody who's new to the whole bike world, finding a lock and what would prevent theft was pretty difficult. One thing to understand if you're in the same boat I was, don't buy cheap locks. Don't buy weak locks either! Chain locks are probably one of the best you can get, unless you plan on getting those anti-angle grinder locks that cost easily half the price of your bike, these heavy-duty chain locks work very well! It's less about how easy it is to break into, but rather how good of a deterrent it can be. When a thief is carrying around some bolt cutters, he's going to be looking for the easiest lock to cut through. He won't spend 4+ minutes gnawing away at your 0.33" chain lock just to get your bike, especially at the risk of getting the police called on him. If you live in a busy city like Chicago, New York, or London, you're definitely gonna need some more serious security. For me, this lock is perfect. I use my bike to commute around my city. I live in a populated area that has a decent amount of crime, just outside of Detroit, sort of known for theft. I leave my bike outside the gym (nobody wants to steal a bike from a gym, let's be honest) for about an hour, and it's completely fine. I'll go shopping at my local grocery store for about 15 minutes and it's completely fine. If you're in a similar situation to me, a city (decently small, but larger than 50,000 people) and has a reputation for theft, then this is a totally perfect bike. BUT! By no means is this secure enough to use to leave outdoors for more than 3 hours, especially overnight. In that time, any guy can run back home, grab his angle grinder and a few blades, and get through this lock in probably 3-4 minutes. If you absolutely NEED an overnight lock, I suggest getting some that are made out of anti-angle grinder materials. They'll run you $250+, but will make it worth your while, as it'll gnaw away at the perp's saw blade before it'll gnaw away at the lock itself. Either this, or you can get one that plays a loud alarm when moved. Now, one of my only complaints about the lock is the plastic housing on it. The part that holds the locking mechanism is a cheap sort of plastic that will chip away every time that it hits the pavement. And, if you're clumsy like I am, you're bound to drop this thing on pavement hundreds of times. Even just dragging it against the pavement is going to make it look like it escaped a tiger's den! This isn't that big of a deal as you can just be more careful with it, and so far it hasn't brought any issues as far as I'm aware.

La cadena es estupenda pero la compré porque ponía que era de 125cm, algo más de 120cm como otra cadena que tengo y son igual de largas.
