I needed to find a way to mount a radio in 68 Bronco without cutting into the dash and this worked perfectly.

Product: Scosche Single DIN Universal Mount Radio Enclosure Unboxing: The enclosure came in plastic packaging by itself. Installation: The enclosure was top mounted to a piece of plywood and secured on my workbench using the four brackets included on the enclosure. The radio cage fits perfectly, and securely. There are tabs on the back of the enclosure that can be removed to allow access for the wires and RCAs to run through. Once the enclosure was ready, the head unit slid right in with no issues. Dislikes: None. Likes: Made with rugged, hard plastic. Fits standard single DIN radios. Plenty of room for wires and RCAs. Made it super easy to mount and use my radio in my garage. Opinion: I didn’t like looking at the radio sitting there on a piece of wood. It worked, but didn’t look right. I wouldn’t have even thought about this product, but I actually saw someone else using one with a similar setup. I am totally glad I was able to find this, it makes things look so much better, and I don’t have to worry about moving, or disconnecting wires on accident. This product will get used regularly and is a great value. I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking to mount or install a single DIN head unit in a place that it normally doesn’t go as a great looking option that will get the job done.

Fits great, looks good. Used under a travel trailer cabinet. If needed, I would buy again.

It looks a little bigger than I imagined. I had to trim the back of it off for where I was using it but it work perfect in my car.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this mount. I worried it would be flimsy or not fit but it is of fairly stiff plastic construction, holds its shape. The front opening to insert the radio is precisely manufactured. It fit perfectly, snapped into place. I would definitely recommend.

Used this to mount a radio underneath a seat in a classic car. Worked well with no issues. Fit my radio.

I have a 1978 Mini that does not have any provisions for mounting a radio so I purchased this mount and the "Metra 99-9000 Dash Kit For Uni Under Dash Full Shroud" from Amazon. They were both well made but I ended up selecting the Schosche kit for the final install. The Schosche kit looked a bit nicer with rounded corners and it fit my application slightly better as well. It went together very easily and I am super happy with it.

Good if used in a enclosed environment because a face cover won’t fit over it
