are these the same pellats that come in the buffett blend?

I'm not sure as I don't know the buffet blend... These are about 2mm in diameter, and they fit perfectly in my automatic turtle feeder

Do these pellets dissolve quickly?

No. They get soft quickly when in water, but don't fall apart, even when the turtles are moving them around when they're swimming. Any pellets still in there after one day will start to fall apart, but that's just an indication that you've given them too much to eat.

Why did the Price on this jump from $2.72 all the way to $7.09 for the same 8 ounces?

If you get this specific brand of food from a pet store is going to cost you an arm and a leg so a few dollars more on Amazon it’s nothing because it’s like 50 or $60 and In a Regular pet store
