So far so good. Good basic laptop. Seems to work ok. Froze once during initialization, but seemed fine after that. The battery kind of sticks out in the back, making the laptop chunky and a little awkward in the hands. Its also pretty heavy. However I get the feeling it can crunch data pretty quick, and loads fast enough. Im not going to be cycling with it or carrying it around alot, so it's fine for me, but if you are looking for something like that, this may not be your laptop. Anyways I'm happy with my purchase. Very utilitarian, almost industrial feel to this item. Update: A few months after purchase, the charger stopped functioning. I contacted the seller, and they QUICKLY responded by sending me a new charger without any further cost to me. I will DEFINITELY be using this company again. They have made a great impression on me. They are professional, polite, and value their customer base.

I took a chance that didn't pay off. I'm so glad I'm able to return it. It did power on, it appeared to be in fair condition and the mouse worked pretty well, but that's where the good stuff ends. Many of the keys used with the left hand entered the same letter two or three times for each keystroke. Numbers did not work at all. Backspace did not work either. Because I had no use of the keyboard, I couldn't activate windows to see if that worked. It arrived with sticky residue on the border around the keyboard. It was missing the EC flap on the side, so there was an opening to collect dirt and dust. The VGA connector had a pin stuck in it so it couldn't be used. Then, when I opened the disk drive, there was peanut butter smeared on the tray! Come on! Don't they look at or test the items before they send them out??? I'll be returning the item and will not exchange it. I will look elsewhere.

This booted up great I wanted Microsoft word on it and it has a trial if you dont have internet you cant use it

Battery lasts about 30-40 min. heavy as crap, could be used as a weapon. I thought it was couple years old . I bet this POS is 7-8 years easy. It gets hot but only $180 . Its kind of slow as a snail even with 2.5ghz processor... I Got it for wife, came last week. Ill give it a couple more weeks to try & then the POS is going back. its not the worst .. WTH did I expect for $180? Its has windows 10 & other stuff. It works... I re-edited this review mostly because you get what you pay for.

Great little computer. Booted right up. Fast as lighting. I have nothing but Dell products.

We needed a laptop to access mostly text-based websites, and to view and create e-mail messages and documents. This unit did the job for us without, having to deal with Windows 11 "issues".

This unit has given me nothing but trouble since the day I bought it. I couldn't return it when I bought it because of the event I needed it for -- and the public nature of that event is also the reason I bought inexpensive, used equipment. That said, it has never recognized its own battery charge (it's charged, and the computer says 100%, but it gives about ten seconds of low battery alarm then shuts down, no matter which power settings I select). It constantly hangs and often takes 20-30 minutes to restart. I have loaded very little software, all known brand name stuff and no resource hog stuff, and browsed the web only with extreme caution. Still it has been problematic and slow, slow, slow slow from the start. I would not buy a used machine this way again unless I was a trained technician. By the time you pay a tech to troubleshoot all that stuff, you pay more than buying new anyway.
