I bought this spray so I could stop having a friend nag me about getting it! Like others, when I get a cold it is usually bad, burning eyes, throat etc., normally no relief and lingers for up to ten days. My current cold has been no exception accept, I started using this spray which is not pleasant tasting BUT within seconds of it hitting the back of my throat provide almost instant relief from the burning pain. I have had to apply it frequently but a it goes out as a very lite spray so a bottle lasts far longer than a cold cycle. Having tried so many things that end up in the garbage can, I'm glad my friend was right...IT WORKS!

It’s supposed to clear everything out of the throat. It hasn’t done it for me, but it does clear out my intestines if you know what I mean.

Last summer, I came down with a viral throat infection so horrifyingly awful that strep would have been a welcomed relief. I had enormous white spots in the back of my throat so painful that I couldn't even swallow my own saliva. After about 4 days of not being able to swallow let alone eat, I went to the doctor who comfirmed it was viral and not strep so there was nothing she could do. I begged for some sort of pain relief. She prescribed a topical anesthetic liquid that tasted so nasty it would make me vomit. By about the 8th day, I had lost about 6 lbs and I was at my wits end. I happened to be by a natural food store and walked in. Out of curiosity I asked if they had anything for a throat infection. The clerk pointed to the nutribiotic throat spay and said it was antibacterial, antiviral and anti fungal. Music to my ears. I had nothing to lose so I bought and gave it a try as soon as I got to my car in the parking lot. I kid you not when I say by the very next day, the pain had subsided considerably. I kept using the spray and by the third day of using it, my throat infection was all but gone. This stuff saved me from starving to death!! I am forever grateful that the clerk pointed me in the direction of this spray. I've had colds and one flu since and even though I've had coughs and congestion, I have yet to get another sore throat. Beware if you're sensitive to any of the ingredients. Fortunately neither I nor my kids are. ******Update 08/2015******* Since writing this review, I have gotten a couple of colds. I had the beginnings of a sore throat each time but I kept using the spray. I ended up with a slight cold and no sore throat. I can say the same for my kids, they have gotten colds but have yet to complain of a sore throat. I love this stuff. *******update 3/14/17******* It's been almost three years since I started using this stuff and I STILL haven't gotten a sore throat. One flu in December of 2015 that I remember because it knocked me out for a couple of days but NO sore throat the whole time. I get the occasional sniffles but no full blown colds that I can remember. I cannot recommend this stuff enough! ******Update 07/2018******* Four years, two flues and a bunch of sniffles later and STILL no sore throat since I began using this spray. The same goes for my kids who are turning 10 and 7 this year. They have yet to complain of a sore throat. Last week, my sister had similar symptoms to mine so naturally I recommended this to her. She didn't want to wait for shipping so I called customer service. The lady who answered was awesome. She looked up retailers based on my sister's zip code and my sister was able to drive right over and buy some. I'll update once I hear from my sister's results. UPDATE- suffice it to say it worked for my sister too. ******Update 06/2020******* It's been six years since I first tried the spray and five years since I wrote my review. I still haven't had a sore throat. Neither have my kids. I've taken it with me on travels and left it with family members and they love it. Best stuff ever. ******Update 08/2022******* Well My family and I managed to survive the pandemic. We all caught it 12/2021 and you guessed it, no sore throat. That’s not to say this is a cure in any way. I took lots of supplements and I’m in the absolute best shape of my life with ZERO comorbidities. But I still haven’t had a sore throat in the 8 years I’ve been using this stuff. ******Update 02/2025****** It’s about time for an update. There was a really nasty upper respiratory infection going around last spring and my son and I got nailed. This time I took too long to start using the spray. A sore throat settled in but I kept using the spray. The infection lasted about 4 days. No idea if it would have lasted longer if I hadn’t used the spray. Moral of the story: use the spray at the absolute first sign of getting sick. It’s worked every time for me in the past.

Been buying this for years. It's one of those products you think you can live w/o until you try to. Soothes my throat, freshens breath, and provides overall throat support. Also has a nice mint taste (others I've tried have been far too thick, oily or bitter - this one is none of those things). Highly recommend.

First of all, this isn't really a spray to numb or make your throat feel instantly better. It's a supplement to help kill viruses (GFSE) & speed up recovery (zinc). I think it has done just that for myself and my son. My mom has always been a huge GFSE fan. I grew up with her telling me how awesome it was and all I knew was the GFSE oil itself is extremely bitter and gross. Lol ....But being an adult now, I guess I decided to try it out on my own. I bought a bottle a few years back. It pretty much just sat in the cabinet until my husband brought home a cold a few months ago. He got so sick from it, he vomited from drainage, coughed 3 ribs out of place & tore stomach muscles coughing (that even caused external bruising). He had bronchitis for at least a month after. His first symptom was a sore throat. Well sure enough, about 3-4 days after he started showing symptoms, I noticed our 3 month old & I started getting some pretty strong congestion. That night I got a sore throat. Knowing that zinc can shorten a virus lifespan, I looked for what I had and found this. I actually took it as directed (no, I didn't give it to the baby). 3 squirts, 4x day. I completely symptom free in 7-10 days. I'm not really sure, I just remember thinking it was the shortest cold I'd ever experienced. I wasn't sold though. Last month my 8 year old said he had a sore throat. The next day, it seemed pretty evident he was getting sick. So I had him take the spray. Again. He got barely worse the second day and was significantly better by the third. Colds usually seem to linger, so I was really impressed. I do think you have to take this at EARLY signs of symptoms to get max benefit. But heck, it's $10. Even if it just had a minor placebo effect (it was more than that & zinc has proven studies) it's worth the money. We also still have half a bottle left. & It isn't bitter or nasty.... I mean my 8 yo took it.

This stuff works great for me! Whenever I feel a cold coming on I use this spray. Either the cold never advances or it is short-lived. I highly recommend it.
