sturdy, great magnet - switch easy to use - seems unbeatable value
without spending a lot of time looking at dial indicator stands, this one seemed like it might be decent quality and still affordable - so I took a chance. In use it does seem to be solid quality - magnet is strong, the magnet switch is very easy to flip, and the position locking screw works well - and finally the arm length/reach is decent. couldn't be happier - solid performance, and very affordable

Works really well
The unit is nicely made and operates really well. Tightening mechanism is effective and the knob to engage the magnets is smooth and easy to turn unlike the old fashioned ones where you could break your thumb pressing the button. Once in place it remains rigid and give you confidence that your measurements will be accurate.

Not the highest quality tool, but works well
Very versatile and easy to use. Not the smoothest action in the world, but then itโs not the ยฃยฃยฃ that the original costs. Great for the hobbyist/model engineer.

Well worth the price.
It was all I expected it to be, strong magnet, secure lock on the arm and decently finished. I've already got a Noga base and arm but didn't want to pay 120 quid for another one. It doesn't get rough service so it should last a long time. Excellent value for money.

Its made in china !!!!
Mmmm looks good but ? made in china !! the magnetic base is not good the magnet is poor very week it will just hold its own weight not good ,the ball joints can not be locked in place and with use they will become very louse and floppy rendering it useless . looks good but made in china it will fall apart with use I will keep looking for one that is made in england
