MUJI Planner (Free Planner A6 Size)

It was waaaay too small for me. The calendar was tiny. I write big so this really didn’t work for me. BUT my sister took it. She loves it. She can track everything she needs to on the note side and write her schedule down on the other side. It’s a really nice little book if you want compact. The paper is good quality. For the price it works well.

月毎のページ(見開き一面)、週ごとのページ(見開き左ページ)、そして週ごとページの右ページには方眼のメモ欄が充実…、と記入スペースが沢山あって良いのですが、日付を書きまくるのが大変でした。

For 2019, I used a size B6 Muji planner, and I love it. It was the perfect size -- fits in all my purses, the calendar box size is big enough to write notes, with or without stickers. Unfortunately there's no Muji store in my state and shipping is ridiculous. The price on Amazon is also unreasonable but I was willing to pay... except I waited too long and it sold out. I decided to get this one and try something new -- 18 months instead of 12. The 2019 planner had an extra month (January 2020) so I used that til the very end. This 2020 planner is smaller and thicker, and bound by thread (sewn.. it seems) rather than stapled. I like that it's divided by calendar space, and then a section for weekly notes, and another for doodling (I guess?) All the boxes and weekly notes are continuous. The vinyl cover also has pockets on both sides, to insert photos or tickets or other small stationery items.

The feel and size of this A6 planner is perfect for me, Monday-start weeks on the left hand page, grid on the right hand page. The paper is smooth and works well with my Frixion pens, the cover feels good in my hand to hold and flip through. This and their dated equivalent are the planners I have settled on. BUT what a price markup !! Muji is known for well-priced items -- this is one-third the price at Muji's own website -- if you can find it in stock. Sheesh !!
