Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works!!! If you've spent any time at all in the world of dust collection, you know the chances of finding a fitting that is compatible with ANYTHING on the planet is practically nil. I recently purchased a dewalt dcw620 router that had their " Airlock" dust fitting WITHOUT the female fitting included. Having no idea what "Airlock" even was I went on the dreaded dust fitting search. After waaay too much time I found the dw9000. IT FITS!!! Then the next hurdle; will it screw on to my 1-1/4" cen-tec hose? IT FITS!!! I feel like I'm in the freaking Twilight Zone. In the dust collection universe that is like coming out of a black hole and landing on your feet. Recommended without reservation.

It screws onto the hose, connects to my dewalt sander. I dont know what else it fits so far. It does not fit my dewalt miter saw. The kit that came with my dust extractor fit the saw though.

Locks in and works good. I dont know why a lot of reviews say you have to buy the DWV9190 Hose Adapter with it to adapt the vacuum hose. I have a 1.25 vacuum hose and removed the tip and screwed on the hose to the sander.

This product works as advertised. The connector lock is not as good as DeWalt’s, but during a couple of marathon sanding sessions, it did not come loose. It fit my Ridgid 1 1/4” hose very good. I recommend it, especially if you don’t want to pay for the OEM version. I think it is a much better value.

I've got the OEM dewalt model as well and this identical for a fraction of the price, works perfect on my dewalt dust collectors

This doesn't attach to a shop vac. It's just a fancier way to duct tape my shop vac hose to my sander. Just a waste of time and money.

Exactly what I needed. Perfect fit for my Dewalt DWE6423 orbital. If you have the Ridgid auto detailing hose kit, it will screw right on as well, no other adapters needed. Just remember it's reverse threads so lefty tighty righty loosey. Once it's locked in place, it also free spins to avoid binding of the hose.

Worked well for a while but now falls off the sander. Very disappointing for dewalt branded item. It worked well for about a year or so, but now when I use it, it falls off while I am sanding which is inconvenient, and dangerous for your lungs and physically bc I find myself reaching for it while the sander is still running! Very annoying - looking for something else to take it's place now. Update to review - After I posted this review, I reached out to Dewalt and a very nice customer service person got back to me and is sending me a replacement accessory. I am hopeful that the new one will last longer! Great customer service.

Expensive for what you get.

Works as advertised. Locks quickly to many Dewalt power tools to attach dust collection systems. Easy to snap on and off, and doesn't come off during use. Confirm your tools accept the attachment.

Does exactly what I expected. Connects my DeWalt Sander to our Dewalt vaccuum.

Connector fits and seems to lock securely onto my sander but haven't connected to a vacuum yet. Paid freight but still took 38 days for Amazon to finally get around to sending the part, even though the website was still promising quick delivery the whole time. Total BS! Have made two purchases recently and both have taken about six weeks to arrive. Not impressed. Very reluctant to make any more purchases due to the ridiculously poor delivery times. There was one bright spot. Delivery by DHL was brilliant. Picked part up on Friday and delivered to NZ Monday lunch time.
