Great trigger relay
Before I put something into a project, I bench test it. Wonderful trigger relay, works as described. I recommend this relay. good construction circuit board well built. The picture shows the relay installed into my project.

Good Relay and Fast Shipping
Nice relay for activating your circuits. Works well and shipping was fast. One thing to remember when connecting to your 12V input...Connect the "IN" pin to the "+" pin and connect these to your POSITIVE supply. Tie the "-" pin to your NEGATIVE power source. If you don't tie the "IN" pin to the "+" pin, the relay will not activate. This is the normal procedure for this type of relay. Dependable, and it works every time. Would buy again.

Took a bit to figure out wrong voltage.
I'm not an electrician and I thought it would work on both 5 & 12 volt, but was wrong.in experimenting with it, I managed to fry it as I inadvertently connected a different power source to it and it did not like it. Made a bunch of noises and once I figured out what I did, it would not turn on. I was trying to use 5v to turn off 12v power supply, so the load side was 120v ac, and the switch side was 5v. Somewhere in the experiment I connected 12v to it it in addition to the 5v and that was when whatever happened, happened. Lesson learned, found 5v one instead and works perfectly, and its also rated for higher amps. Fortunately the only thing that got damaged was this device.

Perfect relay for Honeywell Vista 20p alarmtriggers
Beautiful little relay. Connected it to my Honeywell Ademco Vista 20p alarm panel to provide a dry contact to close a trigger that will activate interior/exterior lights upon alarm activation. Took me a while to figure out that for some reason trigger 17 on the panel would not activate the relay. I think it has something to do with the amperage associated with each trigger line(they are different). Use trigger 18 in default configuration (not normally low) and set jumper on relay to low. Connect trigger 18 wire to the "in" terminal, DC+ to 12v hot (red), and DC- to ground (black). Connect your contacts on the trigger out side (mine was normally open for a Lutron radiora2 system). Test your setup by manually activating the trigger: 4-Digit Installer Code + [#] + [718] You should see a red LED turn on. Deactivate the trigger with: 4-Digit Installer Code + [#] + [818] Don't do any fancy jumping across the DC/trigger terminals for this configuration, as some other reviewers have suggested...trust me, I tried them all and nothing worked until I switched from trigger 17 to trigger 18. Hopefully this saves you all a day of your life!

Great for CanBus motorcycles
I've used this relay on 2 different Can Bus motorcycles to trigger aux lights off the bike high beam signal. Works great for over 3 years now on the first bike I installed it

Jumper wire required
This relay did not work as intended. Usually a relay will energize its output terminals when a trigger signal is supplied. This one did not. Nor did the first one i ordered. I sent the first one back. Second one additionaly had defective phippips head clamp terminals. Had to solder my DC+ wire to the terminal. The fix for this relay is a jumper wire from the Dc+ to the COM output. The relay switches just fine but without the jumper wire no power to any of the output terminals. The relay is so sensitive that it functions with the 2.5v 800mA Dc trigger signal while on the high jumper setting. The low jumper setting was defective on both relays and did nothing. This relay is garbage. I'm only using to trigger 3 car stereo Amplifiers simultaneously as the 2.5v 800mA trigger signal I have is not enough. This is a non critical low amparage application. My load is probably less than 1.5amps @12v. Highly not recommended for anything critical or safety related.

Easy to use 12-volt powered switch.
Used to connect 12-volt trigger from a A/V Receiver (Denon but another's work the same) to flip the input switch on a Pyle Ps1000 power sequencer. The sequencer powers up my sub-amps and other devices I want to power-on when I power on the receiver. Just wired ground and 12-volt from the mono-mini audio output connect (trigger out) to the ground and 12-volt on the switch. Lights it up and shows it is working. Wired ground and red-wire (sorry not sure on the pin-out 4 DIN input cable that came with the Ps1000 but testing it manually was easy) into the Ps1000 switch input and it does the trick so far super reliably. Would be nice if this has a little case to keep the switch in - it is just sitting on the shelf behind my A/V equipment.
