CORSAIR Hydro X Series XT Hardline 14mm Tubing

Was a steep learning curve, but in less than an hour tube bending becomes very rewarding and consistent. I chose pmma because I didn't want to have to replace the tubing in a few months when the plastic chemicals leak into the cooling solution like what happens with Petg tubing. Petg tubing is more forgiving and easier to fix mistakes, but the corsair pmma tubing is made to last and looks incredible for a first time hardline build that involved 6 radiators, three alphacool water pumps, and 25 hours spent bending corsair pmma tubing.

Decent quality and easy to work with

I built my first custom loop several years back and these are the only hard tubes I’ve used. If it’s your first time, make sure to buy extra. I probably went through 3x what I needed - screwed up many bends. Since then I’ve gone back and redid all the tubing several times. I’ve gotten to a point where I can make multiple bends on the same tubes on the first try but that’s not how it started. Watch plenty of YouTube videos and keeps the tubes you messed up for more practice. I recommend taking your time and if you screw up on consecutive bends - it’s time for a break.

These are high quality tubes and been using them for years. Worked pretty well for my new build.

Probablement the best tubes thanks to their wall thickness. Easy to bend, and resilient to temperature (particularly usefull for compact systems).

I wasn't going to write a review. But some other reviewer claimed they break easy. I was brand new at this. Two brand new rigs, 4 radiators and used almost all the tubing (did some fancy bending like a spiral on one connection), not one broke. Solid. I don't think they warmed it up correctly or enough for the bend. I just took a left over piece, roughly 14" and throw it on pavement. Didn't break or chip. When I whacked it like a baseball bat over some wood as hard as I could, it did splinter near the impact point but did "not" shatter. Both machines been up running since Christmas. About to do a third one (we have kids). Will use this product again. Almost 6 meters and its been a great product.

This is nice tubing, really clear and easy to work with. When bending you have to use a lower temp on the heat gun and heat the tube slowly or you will burn or melt the tube. Patients is the key with this stuff, if you rush it it will show.

This tubing is great when you get used to bending it. It does take trial and error, but it looks great once you get it down. I got these as extras to my Hydro X bundle to be on the safe side of having enough tubing.

Used this for a custom loop build and the quality is exactly what you’d expect from Corsair’s Hydro X lineup. The tubing arrived perfectly clear with no haze, scratches, or discoloration, which is huge if you’re going for a clean, showcase loop. The PMMA material feels strong and consistent throughout. It cuts cleanly with the right tools and responds well to heat when bending — no unexpected warping or bubbling as long as you take your time. Once cooled, bends hold their shape really well, which made routing much easier. Inner and outer diameter tolerances felt very precise, so fittings sealed perfectly with no leaks or weird resistance during install. If you’ve worked with cheaper hardline tubing before, you’ll immediately notice the difference in consistency and finish quality. Aesthetically, it’s fantastic. With clear coolant or colored coolant, it looks super clean and really shows off the loop layout and lighting. Overall, if you’re doing a serious hardline custom loop and want reliable tubing that looks premium and works predictably, this is an easy recommendation. Would absolutely use again for future builds.

Se doblan con facilidad aplicando calor a no menos de diez centímetros para que salga bien la curva. Me gustaron por la longitud de un metro ya que puedes extender tu diseño sin añadir conexiones extras.
