Wish I bought it sooner.
Works great! I really wish I had bought this earlier, as I was cutting rope to make 200 lanyards (550 paracord). It is easy to use, cools quickly, and cuts the rope like butter.

Works very well
A hot knife if the only proper way to cut synthetic rope or webbing. This one heats up quick and works quite well leaving sealed rope ends that will not fray or get messy.

Great Hot Knife Rope Cutter
I wish I would have purchased this years ago. Makes cutting nylon rope easy but need to be careful not to keep it hot for too long - it needs to cool in between cuttings. Would buy again.

Cut poly dex line
Working fine on my 3/8 in and 1/2 polydex line on an oyster farm. No frayed ends. Just go slow.

Works as Promised. Let the knife do its work
I like this product. It cuts and cauterizes at the same time. Do not force it. Easy, constant pressure will get the job done correctly. Keep the rope taunt, but not stretched or pulled too tight. Ease off the line pressure as the knife makes its way through the rope. Slow and steady is the way to do this.

Electrical short hazard
Unsafe knife rope cutter, used twice cutting 100% polyester yarn, when it electrically shorted out internally causing case to melt in my hand, I am a retired Fire Chief and I implore you to recall all of this product before it causes a life safety incident, photos included, in summary this product not only poor but an extreme fire hazard

Great product.
No more frayed ends on rope. No need to tie knots in the end of your rope to keep it from fraying or unraveling.

This hottie goes straight through the core!
Works really well. Cut a bunch of webbing and rope with it, no issues. At least this model says the cool down time you need to have to make sure you don't burn it out. The replacement blades are a decent price too. Thanks!

Rope Cutter works very well. Hot enough to cut within seconds. Definitely the tool I've needed and pleased I now have it.
