Ipevo V4K PRO ULTRA HD USB Visualiser with AI-Enhanced microphone, for Classroom visualisation, Online Teaching, Learning Work from Home, Streaming, with Noise Reduction

The first thing I will say about this visualiser is that it does not come with any instructions. However, it is simple enough to use anything and there is a QR code for a link to the quick start guide. I plugged it into my daughters relatively new laptop and simply run the camara App and it was picking it up the image without having to mess around with loading any software. There are three arms, which can each be angled to get the right height and distance from the subject matter. The camera and mic can be rotated as well. Control wise, there is a Light On/Off button, Brightness +/-, Mic On/Off and focus button. I initially tried it with my tablet to see how it performed with that and it was fine, with no issues. Meaning I could use it for presentations, sharing work documents, art, etc. Obviously, it can be used with just paper, card, etc. and I found the picture quality to be good. I then tried it connected to a projector via the laptops HDMI port and the performance was just as good Having recorded some footage and watching the playback, the quality is not bad all at and that also applies to the sound through the mic. Overall, I am pleased with the performance and versatility of this visualiser. I would have liked it to have come with some sort of carry case to protect it when travelling. I really like this camera. Stand seems sturdier than previous cameras I've used, image os really clear and it is easier to use. Sadly the LED light won't work on mine and as I really need to use it immediately I haven't time to send it back to he replaced with a fully working one. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't faulty.

This is great for whiteboarding things with folks via video conferences. The images are clear and there is no distortion or difficulty focusing, it works impressively well in either bright or low light. The stand and the camera are made of quality materials. The base is heavy, so the camera does not tip over easily. The camera also swivels from side to side. Overall the value and the quality are incredible. When you receive it comes with no instructions, but there’s address of a website on the foot of the camera where you have to go and download the visualizer program to make it work

I received this item from the Amazon Vine Program. The item arrived well packed. There is a QR code that can be scanned to downoad the software and guide. The software is compatible with windows which is the OS I use. The visualiser has an 8-megapixel image sensor by Sony thus image is very clear. This also produces HD videos making it great for presentations too. It has a built-in LED light which can be handy if the room is not very bright or in low light conditions. It is easy to set up and adjust in order to show the materials needed to be shared. Looks well made and durable. Stand sturdy enough. This is great for online classes and one to one tutorials. It costs £149.00 at the time of this review. Picture and video quality very good but price a bit high.

The IPEVO Visualizer is supplied in a fairly plain brown cardboard box and is well protected with some foam and cardboard inserts. The Visualiser is all that is in the box but there is some text and a QR code, printed on the box, that gives link access to a downloadable quick start guide and IPEVO Visualiser software. The latter works with a number of different platforms including, Windows, Mac, Chrome, IOS, Linux and Android. On my Windows 10 PC setup was a simple matter of plug and play, plus downloading the software. On a PC, you will need a free USB A socket to plug into but other than that all you need is in the box. You may need an adapter to operate it with say, an iPad or Android tablet but such things are fairly widely available. The Visualiser is very well made and has a good sturdy base. It is a three pivot articulating design that allows for a good range of adjustments and the camera/microphone unit may be rotated through about 225 degrees. The pivot joints are easy to loosen, tighten and manipulate. There is even channelling for the cable along the top arm but one just needs to remember to leave enough loose cable to allow for free rotation of the camera module. Controls on top of the camera module allow; focus to be switched between continuous and single modes, the light and AI voice processing to be switched on or off and the exposure to be adjusted. At the pivot arm's fullest extent, I measured the Visualizer's visual area to be about 32x16cm or in other words slightly longer and narrower than a sheet of A4 paper. This may be further increased by raising the base on a book or block or reduced by moving the arm closer to the subject. This is not the first visualizer that I have used. My partner is a teacher and brought a visualizer, during lockdown, to help with on-line lessons and creating source material. However, I must say the V4K-PRO from IPEVO is a huge step up in both quality and usability. The IPEVO is considerably more expensive than our first visualiser but it sets the bar high and in my opinion more than justifies the extra cost. I would recommend downloading the IPEVO software. It is free and for me was available via a link from the Microsoft store. It is easy to set up and gives access to a wide range of useful features. There are picture adjustments including white balance, zoom, resolution and rotation. The live stream may be annotated using a pen and colour palette. Pictures may be taken and saved and videos may be recorded. I have only scratched the surface of its capabilities, so far but everything I have needed was there, which is a real bonus. This Visualizer is really a pleasure to use and the free software helps enhance that experience. It is easy to set up and works across a wide range of platforms. It also works with the likes of Zoom and Microsoft teams. Whether it be for on-line content or as a tool in the classroom there is a lot on offer and a lot to explore. For example, during handwriting lessons the teacher may form the letters on the interactive whiteboard, in real-time, for the students to follow and copy. Or in an anatomy class the individual parts may be highlighted and/or annotated. Really there are endless possibilities. The sound works well and is very clear. The AI processing makes a real difference and helps clarify the sound and dampen background noise. All in all this device is pretty much perfect and comes highly recommended.

I have been using my 2-in-1 laptop connected to a second monitor for my virtual therapy office setup for the entirety of the Covid-19 pandemic. It worked, but writing on a screen was awkward. Somebody recommended I try one of these and it has been AMAZING. I just use screen sharing within a session, open the IPEVO app on my laptop monitor, and then I can draw away on paper or my writing tablet while the client follows along. It has been a GREAT change. Wish I'd discovered this 2 years ago. Camera is of high quality construction and is clear enough that clients can make out my writing without issue. Sometimes it gets weird trying to focus (my hand vs. what I'm writing) but it's not a big issue as it always refocuses on the text.
