I gave these to a friend with a standard JLU hard top and they fit just fine. Unfortunately, they do not fit my Sky One Touch top. The gutters of the One Touch are thicker. This presents a couple issues. The extensions do not slide on all the way, leaving a gap between the gutters and the usable area of the extensions, leading to leaks in exactly the area you want to fix. Additionally, the shape of the extension has to open beyond 90 degree corners to get around the slightly larger gutters. This increased profile leads to the doors catching/clipping the bottom of the extensions as they're opened or closed. As I said, they're a fine product on my friend's JL but if you own a One Touch these aren't for you.

Bought these to fix the common issue of rainwater dripping into the cabin when opening the doors. The quality of the ABS plastic is good. They do look a bit odd sticking out forward, but I was willing to accept that for their intended purpose. Unfortunately, these do not fit my 2020 Wrangler with the Sky One-Touch top. I even attempted to use a heat gun to soften the plastic enough to mold them to the drainage channels and thought my installation was complete. Unfortunately, as soon as I opened my door, the rubber seal ripped it right off and even damaged my paint. I would avoid if you don't have the removable hardtop.

Great improvements have been made so that it fits into the rails of the Wrangler JL. Therefore, double-sided tape and adhesive are not required. However, it feels a little tight to the rail, and there is a concern that the mounting part will crack due to deterioration over time or due to climate. add comments I found one problem after using it over time. The part that covers the A-pillar is in a floating state, so if you drive for about 60 miles, the wind pressure will interfere with the A-pillar and generate noise. Therefore, it can be installed simply by inserting it into the rail, but it is uncomfortable to put some cushioning material on the surface that contacts the A pillar or fix the part that contacts the pillar with double-sided tape, and suffer from noise of unknown cause. It disappears.

These could break off while going thru the carwash. Easy to install & they work wonderful, however they can only be used with a hard top.

Works well for about a month and one came off while driving. The other one stayed about two months. I used the glue they sent and they felt secure but obviously I was wrong.

Dose not block all the water from dripping in, most likely because I did not use the sealant provided so I could easily take them off when I remove the tops to prevent breaking them. They do still help limit the water dripping when raining.

I wanted to love these, but can’t. There is a bottom groove on the hard top and also on the SOT that those slide into. Unfortunately, the groove must be slightly different on the SOT, and therefore this does not sit flush. It flew off every time I opened the driver’s door. I was able to trim the rain guard so it would not fly off and it has stayed on for a month. I am very confident that it will not survive a brush car wash (even if I had the hard top) and I will probably take these off and find another solution. Bummer!

As many other Wrangler JL owners, we can all agree that the factory rain gutter system just sucks. Whenever it rains, it pours right into the cabin and onto your pants when you're getting in/out of the vehicle, leaving spots sometimes on delicate material clothing, and making a mess inside the vehicle. I found these rain gutter "extensions" and after much consideration, figured I'd try them. I'm glad I did! The installation was pretty easy - I did not remove the top, I just got on a step stool, slid the extensions onto the factory top gutters, and make sure it CLICKS into place (may take a little force but be gentle not to risk cracking the extension). I then used the included adhesive to squeeze some out onto the crevice where the extension and gutter meet, and used my finger to smooth it out as best as I could. This helps to make sure they stay put, and also to make sure it's as water-tight as possible. My jeep is all black, so if you don't know that they're there, you hardly notice them. I haven't noticed any whistling while driving, nor at speeds over 60mph. Seems to do the job without breaking the bank, and looks fairly sleek/integrated. I do recommend this product!

Had installed similar rain gutters extensions in 2020, to coverJeep’s design flaw, but now as they’re repainting the front windshield contour… need new ones!!! It definitely does the job and no more rain in the car when pouring outside, as it is diverted to front windshield.

adhesive tape was useless and lost them on the highway...good idea though
