Excellent case
Of all the cases available for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 this is the most perfect solution yet and I've tried seven this is not a case you'll be taking on and off as it does require and come with glue strips to hold it in place however I only used the one thin glue strip to the left of the home screen and none of the others with that the case stays in place perfectly and doesn't move at all this case is very sturdy there was no need for using all the glue strips no you don't get hinge protection it does not show fingerprints and it is a whole lot easier to open with this case on the s pen is accessible and I don't find it difficult to remove the pen this case is functional protective and does a really great job if there is anything not to like about this case it's that it changes the aesthetic look of the phone this is a beautiful $2,000 phone the case is a bit too rugged looking I would love someone to come out with something as protective and functional but a bit richer and classy looking but this is just a thought or opinion the case does its job and it does it really well better than anything else available I voice typed this review so please excuse the poor punctuation so in summary I don't give this much in the looks department but in every other way it's a fantastic case I'd pay a couple hundred dollars for a hand stitched genuine cowhide leather case with all this functionality somebody please make one and oh yeah don't forget the pen holder!

Perfect
Fits perfectly, stays in place very good. Holds S Pen Fold (NOT Pro, shouldn't use the pro on this phone anyway, it can damage the screen) perfectly. Fingerprint & Volume buttons do take a short amount of time to get used to being able to access quickly but not long at all & once you figure it out, it's instantaneous. I have now also tested wireless charging, works just fine, no issues at all. When opened, it allows the Fold 3 to lay perfectly flat which all other cases I tried did NOT, there was ALWAYS a wobble at the very least. There is no "hinge" protection, but there shouldn't be, it needs to be able to be opened and lay fully flat, it is the way the phone is designed after all. All cutouts are exact & perfect, the charging port cutout is also. There is a bit of a "sharp" feel to the edges (but they are not really sharp just VERY defined) where the S Pen inserts and also above & below the volume & fingerprint sensor are, at first, but hardly noticeable after a few weeks now. I did have a Zagg on the front side until the old kickstand case I had on (that didn't fit good at all) started to lift it in multiple places and I just gave up and removed it before installing this case. This phone does come with the built-in front screen protector and think it's enough anyway. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this case as it's pretty darn near perfect in every way and I would definitely buy it again even at the $45 pricepoint I paid as I think the protection it offers this very expensive phone is worth it.

Best S-Pen case for the Fold 3.
I like this case. I don't love it, but I like it. I tried a couple of others prior, including Spigen's tough armor (the one with the flexible rubberized hinge sheet) and one from VRS Designs (with kickstand). Of the three, this is my favorite. The armor case had sharp edges, and the rubber sheet wouldn't always reliably retract into the back half, causing the front part of the case to want to slide off. The VRS case was great, and I used the kickstand reasonably often. But neither had what I really wanted: an S-Pen holder. This one does. The overall case is nicely slim, which is a plus compared to the armor case. It's not as sharp as the edges were on the armor, but not as smooth as on the VRS. It'd halfway between the two. The S-Pen slot is handy, and the pen itself feels very secure in it. It takes some doing to get it out and in, but I don't have the concerns I did with the flexible pen loop I added to my VRS case (which would get caught in clothes and other stuff). I prefer the extra security this provides, and it slides in and out of my pockets without any problems. I have large hands, and a pen-filled pen slot only interferes *slightly*. To be clear: it hasn't yet prevented me from unlocking, but I do have to use the edge of my thumb to unlock instead of the pad. Luckily, the edge prints were captured when I set up fingerprint scanning, so it works. It's just a smaller contact point than I've been used to with the other cases. Smaller hands won't have much problem. Larger hands may be a "Your mileage may vary" situation. Finally, wireless charging works better than this than on my other two. The Spigen armor case allowed charging, but the thickness meant that I had to wiggle the phone to find the hotspot. The kickstand hump on the VRS case caused similar issues. I *could* use wireless charging with those, but if I didn't pay close enough attention, or if the phone got jarred a little, it would stop the flow of power. This one doesn't have those issues. I can place it on the charger like I would without a case, and it makes the connection. Overall, I'm happy with this case so far. I'd like to see a few improvements, like a hinge-protecting variant that also protects the S-Pen like this does, but this one works well so far. Unless someone else releases my dream case, though, this will likely have a semi-permanent home on my Fold 3.

Best case with S-Pen holder!
Love this case! I went no case for awhile because I was looking for just the right case. I winded up breaking in and ordering a cheap temporary case and ESR kickstand. What I really wanted was a case with an S-Pen holder and the expensive Samsung wallet style was not for me. The Spigen case holds the pen perfectly and is not too thick, offering enough protection. I don't need a bulky hinge protector which does not allow the case to lay flat. Other cases have the pen holder on the back which does not allow the case to lay flat and blocks wireless charging. The first 3 poor reviews for this case did not even have the case as it was on preorder (please ignore those illegitimate reviews). They complained about the double sided tape (which almost all cases have) and the lack of hinge protection (not everyone wants or needs a bulky hinge protector). Case stays on fine without the double sided tape but the long edge on the front cover does not fit tightly in that spot without the tape. You can always just use the tape on that side if needed. Buttons are easily accessible and case has good grip, feels great in the hand (I actually like the extra width of the case due to the pen). Case lies perfectly flat no wobble. Really good looking cae. It's just missing a kickstand which you can always purchase separately if needed.

Can't get it to wireless charge
Two major reasons I bought this case over others, was the wireless charge capability it advertised and the major reason I was purchasing a new case, was for protection. I like that this case feels thicker and sturdier than other silicone plastic cases and I replaced my "leather" samsung case with this one and I am relatively happy with the feel and sturdiness of it but the fact that I have to remove the case in order to use the wireless charging is a pain and it may risk breaking the plastic frame from continuous removal so, thst is the reason for the Star deductions. About $45 for a case that advertises wireless charging and to only have to use the wired charger or remove the case altogether should make this case about $15 if we are meeting in the middle and being fair compared to the ones ranging from $9.99-$19.99. It's a pain in the butt to have to keep removing the back case just to use my wireless charger. I read a lot of people complaining about it being expensive and that they were not happy theirs did not come with the S pen, but if they took the time to actually read the advertisement, it clearly STATES THAT IT DOES NOT come with the pen so i did not deduct any stars for that because i was aware it did not come with the pen. I had to reinstall the strip tape in the front case as it came off a few times and wouldn't stay secure but they provided extra strip of tape and it seems to be staying on for now. If you are looking for a sturdy case that doesn't provide the actual pen and you are aware that the wireless charging advertisement is a hit or miss and are willing to pay the $45, then this case is for you. With all that said, this case is for me and I do recommend it, even if you have to make a separate purchase for the S pen. I added a glass screen protector on my Z fold 3 for extra protection (also sold separately) and again, this case without the wireless charging capabilities should fairly run about $10-15, but if you can get yours to WIRELESSLY charge like advertised for this case, than $45 i guess seems reasonable even without the pen. Hope you can give my review and pics a thumbs up, if you found it useful :) P.s. the s pen side holder is on the opposite side of the buttons on the left screen and I believe to be in the perfect spot to hold your pen.

Great design to hold an S pen
I love that the case lays flat when opened because the S pen slot is on the side. Not inconvenient at all. I haven't found another case that does that. Leather cases are not rugged enough for me to even consider looking at. I almost gave four stars because of the frame on the front. The left side of the frame does not stay in place very well even with extra tape. But what can you expect because the case doesn't cover the spine because it is designed to lay flat. Oh, I also almost gave 4 stars because the case only comes in black. What's up with that! And, the case is a little rough around the edges. But not sharp enough to be a problem. (Don't be a Wendy whiner.) I also don't have a problem with fingerprints. Some people have oilier hands and also dirty hands would create more smudging. I think the cover has a nice feel like a peach. Lol.... Overall this case is the best out there right now as far as what features the case has. One more thing that I didn't know before I bought the case. (My fault and still not a game changer.) But I found out that the S pen pro supposedly will not fit in the holder. I don't know that much about S pens. I'm still learning. I don't really know much about tip sizes either. Why wouldn't they have different sizes for both? There are already molds for both sizes. Go figure. Now my brain is really working overtime. Okay. Sorry my review is so long. I wanted to tell it like it is from my point of view and views from other people. Hope you enjoy your case. I'm enjoying mine. I'm still sticking to a 5 star review! Yay Spigen!

Sleek, durable and great looking protective case.
This case looks great, offers very good protection and is easy to hold. The s-pen holder is unique and holds the pen securely. I wish I would have had this case sooner, as the one I got from Samsung (the folding one with the s-pen holder) didn't offer great protection due to the case not having a closure. So when I dropped it the case did not protect my phone because it came open and allowed my screen to be exposed when it fell (now I have a cracked front screen). If I would have had this Spigen case my phone would not be cracked. I know because my phone has since dropped and the case protection was great not a scratch. Spigen offers the best protection for electronic devices and they are my go to. If your asking if it's worth it yes 100 percent! Probably the best phone case I've ever owned. Only way it could be better is if it came with extra screen protectors too. FYI I am not paid or sponsored by any company, I am just enthusiastic about great products and give honest reviews accordingly.

Updated 3/29/2022 Awesome, just wish it didn't take so long to get it.
So, I am a total Galaxy Note loyalest but I had the Galaxy Note 10 plus, old technology, and the next model newer just didn't seem to justify the cost. Plus, I've wanted a fold ever since the first model. Fortunately I waited. But alas, this review is about the case, not the phone. I knew I wouldn't be happy without some way the ensure I had my s pen handy at any given time since it was always on-board with the Note. I use the s pen all the time. In fact, I write better with the s pen on the fold than typing on any phone. So when the Samsung case was available, and was the only case to hold the pen and it came with the pen, I jumped on it. I wish I had waited for some reviews on it because I hated it. So, I bought the Spigen Case with the hinge protector. As suspected, I wasn't happy without my pen being right there. Because I had the Samsung Case with the removable pen holder, I took that and had my husband glue it to the Spigen case. This Case wasn't available yet. I essentially, had this case. But with a hinge protection. The downside, the Samsung hold glued onto the case did make access to the fingerprint reader and volume control difficult with the case closed. Plus, the hinge protector cause the phone to be incapable of laying flat on any surface. I was only marginally happy now that I had my pen handy. But don't then I saw this case...Taaa Daaa. I ordered it immediately and waited 6 weeks to get it. I personally see zero downside to this case. The phone lays flat when open and the case is way less bulkier. I always have my pen whenever I want/need it, u less of course I fall asleep holding the pen, drop it and the dog runs off with it. But no case will fix that problem. As for durability, the case has been awesome. I drop my phone almost daily. Sometimes, multiple times a day. Don't ask, again the sleeping thing gets me every time. The dog has never run off with the phone. The case also never comes off. Unlike the hinge protector case, which came off all the time. The hinge also got in the way of pop sockets and the like. I highly recommend this case for old Note die hards like me. FYI, I just ordered my replacement pen for that disappeared. Update: 03/29/2022 I really love the design of this case. But I've had two now and the flanges that hold the s-pen broke. When they broke on the first one, I thought it was a fluke, which is why I bought a second one. But I haven't had the second one all that long and the flanges broke in the same way. This is the reason I've downgraded my review from 5 stars to 3. I guess I'm back to the drawing board shopping for another case.

bonne coque

Excellent case for Samsung fold 3
This product is excellent. I wanted a case that could provide a better hold for the S pen, and this case does that. I can store the S pen confidently, knowing it won't slip out. I still have excellent access to the biometric finger print scanner. The case feels solid in comparison to the case provided by Samsung. Additional adhesive is provided for extra protection if wanted, but it's not necessary. The phone fits snug into the case. The phone also folds with no issue as the spine is exposed. Excellent purchase, you get what you pay for.
