A Great Resource
An excellent resource for home-schoolers or any parent/guardian who wants to give their child some additional practice with vocabulary, sentence structure and/or other grammatical skills. This book really makes kids think before they answer, which is the element I like the best. There are lots of contextual activities that "force" kids to learn vocabulary in a real-world context, rather than rote-memorization. It is listed as 7th grade, which I think is accurate. I found it perfect for my 6th grader to build upon what is learned in school and provide new challenges.

Perfect worksheets for working from home.
Our [now] 13 year old got so far behind after 2 years of distance learning. Summer school was not an option, but we had to try SOMETHING! This was exactly what we needed. He can do 1 lesson a day, or 5 if we’re on a roll. It’s easily understood by him, & by me, too! That’s not always true, either. So it’s been an easy way to get in a bit of what he missed. Hopefully next year won’t be such a shock to everyone as we start the school year. BTW- kid is going into 8th grade. I decided to get the 7th grade workbook. Less stressful content, but I felt like he had too much he missed already. It wasn’t even a review of last years content. It was mostly new to him. I think it helped him a lot. I got a good review of MY 7th grade grammar & vocab, though! I’ll just say that was somewhere in the 70s, so I needed it as bad as he did.
