Hi dear, ELEMUSE mattress topper is made in China. It's filled with supportive 3D snow down alternative filling, extra thicker than traditional mattress pad, will offer you excellent sleeping.

Does it contain fiberglass

It doesn't feel as if it contains fiberglass. The topper is very comfortable. We've tried three toppers prior to this one. This was was the winner.

Bought new bed last week. was softer in store. hate it now so want a thick pillow topper to put on. can’t return bed for 21 days. how thick is this?

I'd say about a quarter inch thickness. I love how soft it made my bed

can/should i put the mattress cover first, then this mattress or just the mattress pad?

I would advise that if you are covering a mattress of unknown history (such as a dorm mattress) use a cheap mattress cover or even a mattress bag that encases the whole mattress, then top with this mattress topper. If you are topping your personal mattress, no need to pre-cover your mattress.

Very Happy

I'm really happy with it. I have a firm mattress for my bad back but I've started getting bursitis in my hips. This mattress pad has been great. Its not too thick so that my fitted sheets won't work. It seems very well made.
