Turtle Dock

I have a yellow belly slider turtle approximately five months old and I only had the small dock for a hatchling and since my little turtle is so well taken care of , only being five months old, he’s not so small anymore. I listen to GP chat and was misguided into buying something different from this and I had to return two. This is very easy to assemble, except for the suction cups. There were a little hard to put on, but they stick real well.. definitely a good value for the money. Local pet stores are selling them so much more.. They’re a great quality and they are extremely surprisingly Durable. This was my best purchase. My little friend is so happy. I use the old smaller one to put underneath his waterfall so he can play on it.

Bought this for a new baby turtle in getting soon. Fits great in a 55gal and seems to be large enough he can grow into for awhile. Slider bars are plastic and flimsy but does as needed. Suction cups were an absolute pain to put on it and harent the strongest may end up sealing to different ones

My turtle Mikey broke his small ramp a few weeks ago, and I needed to get him the medium ramp. I love these because they are weighted on the end of the ramp so I stays in the water. The suction cups weren’t that great, so I changed them out for ones I had at home that were a lot stronger. My turtle is 8 inches long and weighs about 2.5 pounds and has plenty of room on the medium ramp to get to his basking platform. I have him in a 100 gallon tank, so make sure you have enough room for the ramp since it is quite long even for the medium size.

I've had one of these for my turtle for about 5 years now, and its finally time to replace it. Usually easy to spray clean of scum with a lil scrubbing if needed, floats very well, tho the float bars are seen as a challenge by my turtle, its her mission to take them down. I fixed that by tying fishing line to the dock and one of the suction cups and having the cup on the outside of the tank. She ignores it then. I ordered one on Amazon and it was broken in half, it seemed like a fissure break, the foam was much different than the one I had originally, the sides showed raw foam and not sealed shut, like it was cut wrong. The weight of it was all wrong too, after gluing it together it floated vertically ramp side down. I figure I will cut it into a smaller size and use it in a different tank. All in all, I love this product, and I was due a dud.

I was extremely disappointed with the Zoo Med Turtle Dock. It’s basically just a chunk of painted Styrofoam that started breaking apart in the water. My turtles even tried to eat the pieces, potentially toxic and very dangerous. On top of that, the dock is way too flimsy. It couldn’t support any of my turtles, not even the small ones, it just sinks or tilts and they slide right off. Overall, this was a terrible purchase and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who cares about their turtles’ health and safety.

This was okay. Suction cups failed quickly luckily my turtle was small until he wasnt. I've since replaced this with a pvc style dock that cant sink. Also my turtle started eating the dock beware of that.

I have this set up in a 40 gallon breeder for my juvenile painted turtle. Long enough so my dual basking and UV light can get to him. For some reason my pleco sucker fish also loves the underside of this more than any other spot in the tank.

perfect size for my turtle, came super fast too
