Are there any plastic parts to this French press?

Uggh! I am trying so hard to find a French press that is NOT made in China and DOES NOT have any plastic parts. Extremely frustrating that it doesn't seem to exist.

I'm concerned about plastic. Is there any plastic on/in this product and does it come into contact with the water/coffee at all?

The Bodun Chambord models all have metal parts except for the little ball on top of the stem and the cover. The carafe is always glass. I had a problem a few years back with a Bodun model that had a plastic piece connecting the filter to the stem; it broke after a few months use so I also was concerned about plastic parts. I would also avoid metal carafes just because the coffee doesn't taste good to me when brewed in a metal container.
