Great idea, easy to use. I no longer need to heat up 3-4 qts of water before cooking pasta. Putting the dry pasta in this, filling with sufficient water so all pasta is under water. Microwave for 13 minutes and pasta is done. Pop on the lid, strain out the water, lift up the inner sleeve, rotate it and let the last of the water drain off. You can then dump the pasta and the sauce in the red tub, microwave for 30 sec to rewarm and your done. No big pots to wash, toss the microwave cooker in the dishwasher and be done with it.

Is good, sturdy, easy to clean, dishwasher safe. Not 5 stars b/c the plasric warped after use and is now somewhat less pretty (not affecting functionality in anyway). That is the only mark against.

No more giant purse of boiling water to deal with. At my age this is a genuine helper.

Saw this on TV and had to try it. Works great. Making pasta the old fashioned way is not rocket science but this makes the job even easier and faster. Never going back to the old way.

Perfect pasta every time. No need for a big pot. Check dimensions, in one of my microwaves it fits but won't spin, in another it just barely makes it and turns around. For cook times and tips: salt the water. You can use broth if you want. For cooking time if I plan on using the pasta in a dish where it will cook more, like a casserole, 6 minutes, stir, 6 more minutes. If I plan on eating right away I go with 7,7. I like to also add a half teaspoon of oil or fay which helps to stop sticking together. Cleans up real easy , I often mix ingredients into the cooking vessel so less dishes too.

Yes,it's easy to use. Convenient. I still have an original pasta cooker,but wanted a backup. The thing I don't like is it has no instruction booklet. Has no instructions for steaming veggies or potatoes,etc....
