Older titles can still run directly from the external hard drive ( a little slower load times though). Transfer times for large games are under 5 mins ( such as rdr2 ) the transfer times are not an issue mostly under 3 mins either way ? I’d say this is a great piece of kit, value for money and a great update to any home console set up. And you can take it anywhere ??? If you’re a casual player like me this is a no brainer ? Great price, great performance and very easy to use? 5* imo

Other reviews state you need to format this via a PC to work, I just done it straight from the box. Works well so far. It does also state that X/S will need to be played directly from the internal drive. So it’s a good storage option for Xbox One and 360 games. No noticeable noise. On the expensive side, but then you pay for quality with Seagate.

My son loves this for his x-box. He moves games to and from this with ease and it has increased his storage capacity massively.

good pice of kit, to extend your xbox hard drive, only problem is u=you have to put the game your playing back onto the main hard drive of the box...but apart from that, excellent

Value for money, storage capacity, Durability, Noise level, portability, and Connectivity were all above but the only wrong thing was the Xbox Games Pass for one month that I got with it for free didn't work it's not the UK version it was the Euro version so that was a waste time putting it in.

I bought the Senate 2TB external hard drive to expand storage on my Xbox and overall it’s been a great, reliable addition. The drive wasn’t pre-formatted for Xbox, so I needed to format it on a PC first. This only took a few minutes and was very straightforward, but it’s worth knowing in advance in case you don’t have easy access to a computer. Once that was done, the Xbox recognised it immediately with no issues. Since then, performance has been solid. Games install and run smoothly, it’s quiet in use, doesn’t get hot, and feels well made for the price. The 2TB capacity gives loads of room for modern games and updates, which is a big plus. Overall, excellent value for money. As long as you’re aware of the quick formatting step, it does exactly what you want and works seamlessly with Xbox once set up. Would happily recommend.

Had to get my partner to reorder this for me as apparently I am only allowed to order one. given that I received a wired mouse instead of a hard drive i think that is a bit rich. UPDATE finally received the hard drive thanks to my partner. However, save your money as you CANNOT play Xbox games from this device. You can store them on there , but what is the point as you may have to delete games from the internal storage of the xbox to be able to move the game to a playable drive. Total con
