Has anyone used this for ski boots? If so, how long did it take to dry them out? Thank you!

You shouldn't have a problem using them with ski boots. It's difficult to specify drying time because it depends on the material and how wet the boots are.

Would this be good for drying nonslip work shoes? My son works in a restaurant as a dishwasher and his shoes get soaking wet every day.

Should the digital version turn on when it's plugged in? I think i may have received a dead one.

After you plug it in, you’ll need to select heated or cool air before it turns on. The fan/air won’t start blowing until you’ve selected either heated air or cool air.

Does the dryer operate at other voltage? 220v?

According to the manufacturer's website the DryGuy Force Dry runs on "...120V AC Household Outlet, 240 Watts." The safety sicker on the unit itself says it runs on 120V, 60Hz, 215W. I showed these numbers to my wife who's an electrical engineer and she said don't try to run it off of a 240V outlet without using a step-down transformer or you'll blow it up and start a fire.
