Is this to be used after the thera tears foam cleanser?or are they the same thing?

For bleparitis my ophthamologist recommended both the theratears foaming cleanser and this spray. He said to wash with the foaming cleanser first and towel dry. Then with eyes closed spray each eyelid with this SteriLid, open eyes to let a little get into the eyes then close eyes and gently rub the lashes and lids for about one minute, let air dry. I've found that I don't really need the foam cleanser, I just use this spray after washing my face. Easier & cheaper with same results.

once opened, how long is this it good for, expiration or time frame? ty.

It doesn’t say how long it’s good for once opened. It just says expiration date on package. The one I just got has an expiration date of 09-27-21. I use it twice a day and it lasts me almost a month.

How is the antimicrobial formula different than the regular theratears Sterilid eyelid cleanser? I think I bought the regular formula by mistake.

My ophthalmologist told me to use this one to prevent infections. It will do a good job cleaning dirt, make-up, etc. from lid area.

I have been dealing with eye lid swelling and eyes sealing shut in the mornings for nearly 10 years. About 4 years ago my dry eyes started and became so unbearable it was hard to function. Eye drops and night time gels didn't work very well nor did they last very long. Eye cleaning pads worked to help reduce itchy and swelling lids but not the dry eye. Makeup makes me flare up so I resist wearing it. I also use the bruder mask per my optometrist's recommendation and that helps but I have to be consistent and I'm not always able to use it.No joke, in less than 5 minutes of using this product my eye lids feel soothed and my eyes feel hydrated like they haven't in 4 years. I'm so thankful I've found this product. My eyes feel new!
