Pricey but only a low % is needed
Happy I found this product here on Amazon! This saved my shampoo formulation that I had been working on for nearly a year. After many failed attempts with other thickeners, and trying to avoid using such a high percentage of thickener’s like Xanthan Gum which has a tendency to turn a product snotty if more than 1-1.5% is used. This Liquid Crothix has no odor and is very easy to work with in formulations. Please do keep this product available. Despite it being quite pricy, I do believe that I will get several shampoo formulations from this bottle, as such a low percentage is required to thicken my product to the viscosity where I need it. I recommend and will purchase again.

It thickens liquid soap
This will thicken liquid soap. No, you don't have to heat this stuff up or the liquid soap before you add to the liquid soap for it to work. I added this stuff cold to thin liquid soap and stirred really well for a while. Yeah, it thickens, just a little pricey.

Great body wash thickener!
Works great as a thickener for our body wash because most our Fragrance oils thin out our body wash, so this adds the right amount of thickness (viscosity) back to our body wash! Even at 2% works great!

So little of this is needed I really wish they sold a smaller size bottle
A little bit of this stuff goes a very long way. I have no idea how I am going to use this whole bottle. A size a quarter of this size would be really nice.

SUPER THICKENER!
I need Crothix to thicken my watery shower gel and this stuff works MIRACLES! A little goes a long way, so start off with just a little and then add more as needed! EXCELLNT PRODUCT!!

Works as advertised
This product was listed in a recipe I wanted to try. It actually did the job I needed it to do…thicken a formulation. It’s really important that you follow recipe requirements for this product and recommended usages. I misread the amount required while making fabric softener and ended up with a huge glob I couldn’t use. It works y’all!!

It doesn't work for all body washes
I make body wash, this product for whatever reason did not help to thicken my soap. I used mostly hard oils. I found out that this product works beautifully with body washes that are made with 70% and above. I gave the medium review because it doesn't work for all types of body washes.

Nice
As described, I used it for my homemade liquid saop and it thickened nicely, the only downside is that you need to use lage quantity

My search is over
Mission: To give more viscosity to castile liquid soap. Tried salt. Tried xanthan gum. Both failed. Tried Crothix Liquid Thickener... and it worked beautifully! Have purchased another bottle.
