I've been wanting to add collagen to my supplement diet and had tried a brand where the product needed to be added to water or some other liquid, hot or cold. I did not like the filament texture of the product, nor the taste, despite the advert. insisting that it did not have flavor. I ended up throwing it out and went with capsules, by Live Conscious. Over time, I saw very little improvement and further researching proved that the prescribed three capsules a day amounted to less than the minimum amount of collagen one should take. So, I gave that up, too. I think the last time I took my final three pills was three months ago. At 73, though, I knew I needed something with collagen but since the pill application didn't provide enough, I finally resigned myself to the mix-in collagen. After some research, I decided on doing business again with Live Conscious via their Collagen Powder Hydrolyzed Peptides. I chose the plain version without flavoring. The first time I took it it was mixed into water, with some maple syrup for flavoring. I stirred vigorously for almost a full minute, just to make sure it dissolved. The only thing I tasted was the maple syrup - which was a bit too cloying to be honest, with no texture whatsoever! It mixed perfectly. It does take about 2 tablespoons for a serving, though, which isn't that bad considering how well it dissolves. So four stars for both of those attributes. Next order I will do chocolate or the mango flavor to see how that works. It's still too early to tell if it's doing what it should (I've had only one application up to the typing of this review), but I can attest that it mixes very well and has no taste whatsoever. You can add it to your morning coffee, juice, oatmeal, your cereal milk, whatever liquid you take on the daily, or you can add it to soups or chili. Although I cannot attest to how well it will react with soda, I guess you could mix it with that, too. Just be gentle when you stir it; no doubt the carbonation might get a bit excited if you're too vigorous, :-D Goes without saying that you can mix it in water, as well, since it doesn't have any taste. I look forward to making this my daily habit and hopefully see results in a few weeks or months. I'm not really sure how long it takes for powdered collagen to start doing any good, so for those who have experience, please feel free to educate me! In summary, Live Conscious Collagen Powder Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides dissolves extremely well and has no flavor, although I am sure the chocolate or mango versions will. If you need to add collagen to your diet, this is a great way to do it. Just mix it thoroughly.

I haven’t really noticed a specific skin improvement due to this product. But I started to take my health seriously and started several products at the same time. I add it to my morning coffee and I notice no taste. I also don’t notice any discomfort due to this. It is sticky if you get it on your hands but that doesn’t bother me. My hair does seem healthier and growing faster.

I have this on auto ship because I like it so much. It helps my hair, skin, nails and has improved my joint pain. I put it in my smoothie every morning. It doesn't clump.

This review is basically key points since I have just started using it. I wanted to help out with some key points that could save frustration for those beginning to use this product. First off there is a scoop in the bag, but definitely buried in the fine poofy powder. So I just squeezed the bag from the sides and pushed the powder up and viola there was the scoop. I don’t recommend putting your hand in powder as it has a clingy effect. Second key piece of info is that the scoop according to the mfg. IS an 11g measurement so just fill ONE scoop level and blend into your choice of 8-12oz of hot or cold beverage. Speaking of scoop, if you did not receive said scoop, it is equivalent to 2 and 1/4 ROUNDED teaspoonsfull per mfg. I did measure to test and it was pretty close. As for the mixing of the powder, I recommend using a MINI drink mixer that most people would use for smoothies or protein drinks (if u have one) it just makes it easier to mix without clumps or use a whisk or spoon. The key to no clumps is to poor the powder into 8-12oz of your choice of hot or cold beverage A LITTLE AT A TIME. Mix throughly with whisk or blender between each time you add more powder. Trust me you do not want to try and drink this with clumps. Now for the taste, I mixed mine in 12oz of ice cold water (see pic) and it has very little flavor if any. I can taste only a SLIGHT flavor which reminds me of protein powders. But I mixed in water so I could tell if it was awful and it isn’t at all. If I mixed in juice or coffee or tea I’m sure I wouldn’t taste any of it. So 5 stars for taste. I’ve heard some collagen powders are awful. This isn’t. In the picture you will notice a slight yellow color, that is as yellow as it gets for 12oz. Less water I’m sure more yellow color. I had already had some so the volume you see in the bottle is not the 12oz I started with. I can definitely say I will have no problem drinking this. Another side note, some people said they didn’t get the full 41 servings that it states you should get, I have not reached a point yet to tell if this is accurate however I suggest that if you do buy this, keep a paper taped with the bag (like I am) to put a mark everyday you have some to see exactly how many servings you get so you will know how often to buy it if you continue. Speaking on this point, I did the subscribe and save subscription (free to cancel anytime) and it saved me 5% right off the top. I figured since I can cancel anytime why pay more when I’m just starting out. If I like it and it shows results then I’m already signed up for the auto delivery every two months (most popular option) and if I don’t like it then i at least saved some money off the top and can cancel the auto fill. One last thing I noticed is the powder seems to have a little static electricity thing happening inside the bag, so just be careful when scooping, it might start to cling to your hand or clothes if to close to the powder. It was sticking to my measuring spoon on the outside, kinda weird and cool at the same time. I will update review in 30 days or so to see if I notice a change in hair, skin, nails, wrinkles etc. As for my hair, it will be easy to tell if it helps grow hair faster since I have a nearly shaved head, except for my small spiked mohawk. So I will definitely notice if my hair is growing faster since I know exactly how much hair grows in 4 weeks since I have a regular cut every 3 weeks. The bag has a closure seal to keep it fresh and I don’t think it would transfer easily to another container since it’s like powdered sugar and is “clingy” and poofy. The whole bag would need to go into a different container if necessary. Hope this helps answer some questions that I even had when I started and had to find the answers on my own. I drink it in my tea every morning. It dissolves quickly, not a bad taste. Just need to get used to it being a little grainer. I miss it now if I forget to put it in. It is a good and easy way to get the collagen. Being older, I feel like my skin droops more if I for get to take it or I run out and did not order. I looked around for cheaper but they are pretty much the same. So I believe it is worth the money.

First Impressions were good, the bag is large and has a good seal which doesn't open easily. There is a scoop inside, however, it does have a tendency to get lost in the powder; don't put your hand in the powder to retrieve it as the powder will stick to your fingers, Instead, just squeeze the bag until you get the scoop to the top. Regarding taste, personally I find I can taste it in tea. It's not awful, but it does have a slight brothy/meaty taste which I don't like. I drink it in flavoured water and it's tasteless. I'm not a coffee drinker so I don't know how it tastes in that. It mixes really well and I haven't experienced any lumps. I just put a level scoop in my water bottle, and then put some squash and water in. I just give it a good shake and I don't end up with any lumps. When I added it to tea, I found it mixed quite well, however I did end up with a slight foam at the top of the drink - but some more mixing fixed that quite easily. It's too early to say if it's made a difference, but I will update this review once I've finished the bag!

Received the Collagen the next day of ordering. No problem with the taste too early to say if I will see any difference in skin, nails or hair.

Items arrived in good time. Product seems good no problems, it is too early to say how good it will be as only just started taking it. Time will tell.

After only a few days of taking this powder I noticed my skin was softer and feeling plumped up. Reduced my appetite.

As I struggle to take large tablets thought I would go for this product after reading the reviews. This product has no taste or after tastes and mixes very well. Would definitely recommend this as I will be purchasing again.
