I finished it within 5 days I must read for every Muslim who is interested in Islamic history on condition that you already have knowledge of Islamic History from the time of Prophet till the end of Umar [RZ] regime. This book will provide you true knowledge of- - Causes of Usman [RZ] Shahadah - Reasons for the fall of Rightly guided Caliphate. - Causes of Jang e Jamal, Siffeen and Neherwan. -why and how Rightly guided Caliphate turned into Monarchy by Umayyads. -Tyrannies of Umayyad and Abbassids. - Excellent hard work by Imam Abu Hanifa during the dark rule of Umayyads and Abbassids and their atrocities on Imam Abu hanifa and common muslims

Subhan'Allah! May Allahﷻ grant Ajrun kabīr to Maulana Maududi for his outstanding piece of work, colleting such a detailed authentic, unbiased historical record of Islamic governance history and how it shifted to other form of Governance. What I find this book lacking is the crucial difference between such Kingship Caliphate and actual Monarchy, After Rashidun Caliphate, it didn't turned literally in monarchy but only One aspect of Governance changed i.e., how Bay'ah was taken from public (which is forced by the elites) but their policies and call for implementation of Islām remains the same and that's why most of the people didn't rebelled against as it's not permissible, though one of the best form of Governance is really Rashidun Caliphate which Ummah should really strive for again. Overall, loved his insight and enlightened thinking on the matter.

Book page quality is good.But small text and it was better if the language was slight simpler.

Good binding and good quality pages. No need to say anything about the content of the book as you already know what to expect.

The author attempted to provide a glimpse of Islamic History coupled with the analysis that shows the reasons responsible for shifting of Khilafat to Mulokiyat. The reader must have some basic details about the Islamic history in order get the best out of this book.

In many pages, I found misprinting. Whole paragraph missing in the book from being print.

The topic is very sensitive, and the author dealt with the subject with skill and expertise. Many facts are not common knowledge to the masses. This book will give a deep insight into the situation after the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). Utmost care and respect is given to the Companions of the HOly Prophet (pbuh) while discussing their decisions and judgments.

Book is in english translation .... book is good... easily readable...but book size is small.....I expected it in a normal size. And also Some contents are missing in some topics....not in details as in urdu book..
