This has barley as an ingredient. How can it be truly gluten free?

Barley is the original source of the amylase, which has then been processed to remove the gluten protein. The Beyond Celiac certification trademark does not allow use of any of the gluten-containing grains, even when they are processed the way the amylase is.Oct 31, 2019

No MSG, but it does have (last item listed, so very little) Barley Amylase. This does not trigger an attack on me, but we’re all different.

No, it is not. The FDA has told them to remove the gluten-free claim because it contains barley. Do NOT eat if you are on a gluten-free diet.
