Comfort plus bareback pad - high wither - extra comfort. One of the best bareback riding pads available. Wonderful for pleasure riding. A must for every riding school. Nothing teaches balance as well as learning to ride bareback. Very useful for lessons on the lunge line as well. The dees at the pommel can be used for a hand hold as well as for a breastplate. This is the Cadillac of bareback pads. The seat is a deep quilted plush material over high density foam for comfort. The lower portions of the flaps are of a peachy suede like fabric. All of the above give fantastic comfort for horse and rider. There are two stainless steel dees at the front for a breast plate, hand hold or to snap on water bottles or carry bags. Two additional dees are at the cantle. Comes complete with adjustable non slip girth. Review: Love this pad!! - Absolutely love this pad! Stays put & doesnโt slip at all, very comfy & easy to clean. This is all my daughter has been riding in since we got it lol very similar to the Thin Line bareback pad & half the price! Review: Really comfortable and worth the $$ - I bought this for my Rocky Mountain Horse so I can ride him bareback and work on my balance. It's so comfortable. My friend (in the pic) who's in her 60's was so comfortable riding in it that she wanted to canter! Because my horse is gaited and his back is slightly low it did scoot back a little. He has a lot of shoulder movement too. So I'm going to buy an English style breast collar for it so it won't slip back. It's very well made and it has D rings to attach a breast collar and saddle bag if you want to go on the trail with it. I eventually will use it on the trail when my balance is better. Very usable and conforms to my horses back unlike the $70 weaver bareback pad that was too thick and stiff and slippery. If you're looking for a good bareback pad spend your money on this one.

The best EVER!
I ride in this pad ALL the time! Both of the horses I typically use it on are super shark-finned, and this pad makes it SO much more comfortable! Iโve gone out on 25 minute hacks on them, and Iโm only a tiny tiny bit chaffed! I will forever recommend this pad. This thing DOES NOT slip or slide at all (and I donโt even have to make it super tight), the suede/fur seat really locks you in, especially in some good breeches. Makes flat backed horses feel like a couch. Definitely invest in this, and not some cheap one!

Comfortable
I love that I can throw this on and go with my horse, it doesn't slip very easily which is a great function since I have been working on jumping on my 16 hand horse from the ground and there is a lot of wriggling involved. The girth has an extension underneath it to keep it from pinching and two small strips of Velcro to hold the top portion to the underneath. It is great in theory but does not hold as nicely as one would want, and so sometimes the buckle can be close to the skin, but it still works alright. I've ridden in it four times so far and really like it. I feel like this is going to be a regular thing.

Great bareback pad!
Fits my pony well (he's 13.3hh) with room in the girth to go tighter for a smaller pony, and would also fit easily on a much larger horse. Doesn't slip at all w/t/c, but haven't jumped in it yet so I can't say anything about it's security for jumping. Super comfortable seat, easy to stay put without sliding around like I tend to do with a fleece pad. It has D-rings in case you want to attach a breast plate for extra security, but I don't feel like I need one. Girth is nice and a little stretchy, so it's easy to fit snugly. Quality is good, and product arrived the day before estimated delivery date. Definitely recommend!

Sore no more!
I ride a very athletic horse with sharp withers, that being said riding bareback always ended with bruises, being sore and never wanting to try again. I got this pad as a Christmas gift and tried it the next day. I was BLOWN away. The other bareback pads I tried never stayed in place, one almost caused an accident sliding off. The no slip texture is magic, the texture of the suede is perfect for grip, and itโs so comfortable I am able to jump bareback on my horse without issue. I would absolutely buy another (and did) and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful pad!

Best pad ever!
Best bareback pad ever! I've always used My old cheapy pad like 3 inches thick with a nylon strap for a girth and stiff as a board. Finally caved and bought this. It's amazing! The contoured shape and layers of padding make it so comfortable. It stays put. No sliding around. The girth is easy and way better than I expected for a bareback pad and I've had no problem with buckles rubbing. It may be a tad long but no deal. I wish I'd bought it years ago!

Awesome bareback pad!
I finally got a chance to try this bareback pad. It was comfortable and easy to use. I really like it has the girth buckle guard to protect the horse's sides. It stayed in place and was just padded enough. Thanks for a great product!

Better than most but...
I bought this because everyone raved about how well it fits high withered horses. No, it doesn't. I am now trying to sell it. It is well made and good quality, and fits better than most flat back pads, but it still does not accomodate high withers.

For beginners
This saddle is OK for beginning riders - my Granddaughters used it for quite a while, when they were learning.
