Great window locks, easy to use. Fits in small areas.

I have a window AC unit and live on the bottom floor, so wanted a little extra security and didn’t fully trust the integrated locks on the unit. This clamp down pretty hard on the vinyl windows I have and provide that extra security. They are little clunky and take a little finesse to install, but how often are you really taking them on and off?

Well designed and does the job well. Each lock comes with its own key so you won’t be left running around looking for one if you need it in an emergency.

So easy to install! I live on a first floor apartment and found out the windows don't lock. Not safe for this senior. Each lock came with its own key and a master key that's work on all locks. If you are concerned about your safety, don't hesitate, buy them.

My kid got one of the windows in his room out of it’s track. He had to also break a latch off the window to get to where he could remove the window. It’s a miracle the glass didn’t break. I don’t know how he was able to break the latch and I couldn’t get it back on of course. You may be wondering why I didn’t stop him from doing it in the first place. I was watching the Vikings paste the Giants in New York, even though the stadium is in East Rutherford New Jersey. Go Vikings. Now that he knows how to take it out I had to immobilize the window somehow. The short term solution was to use a vice grip to jam the window closed. Does the kid know how to use a vice grip? No, but I bet he can figure it out! Long term solution is these clamps. They come with Allen wrenches with wings that make instillation super easy. He watched me do it so as long as I keep the wrenches away from him he 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑦 can’t get the window out again. I think it’s worth noting that this same child once pulled a doorknob off a door without removing the screws. Seriously. The doorknob was in another room but the screws that hold it in place were still in the door. At least he didn’t lose anything we needed to put it back together. This product served my purpose very well. There is foam on the inside to prevent metal on metal contact but once tightened it stays securely in place. For my situation these were worth every penny.

Disappointed that these ones didn’t come with the foam protective spacer. But I guess I didn’t look as closely as I should have. Works ok. Easy install, easy adjustment, easy removal, not sticky, good fit. Nice that they came with an allen key for each lock. Durability seems ok but I just got them so I’m not sure yet.
