wont sound when fridge stays open, thats why I got it, how do I get it to alert me if the door doesn't get shut ?

Hi, if you hear a Beep when you switch ON, then it's not related to batteries, it may be caused by the distance between alarm and the mini sensor. We recommend placing the alarm and the mini sensor 0.60 inches apart; Fridggi emits a low volume beep when you exceed the allowed gap. Open/close the door a few times to check you hear the low beep, before peeling off the double sided tape.

Hi, Alarm dimenstions; width =1.2 inch, height = 2.5 inch, thickness = 0.78 inch / Mini Sensor dimensions; width =0.39 inch, height = 1.37 inch, thickness = 0.51 inch. FRIDGGI can be used for a maximum gap of 0.6 inches between alarm and sensor.

how do i get extra adhesive strips ?

Buy double sided adhesive tape at a hardware.

Can you change the time to less than 60 seconds?

Short answer is no. It beeps once after 60 seconds, 2x after 2minutes, then a continuous alarm at 3 minutes. It’s so loud I usually have no issue with shutting it quickly-don’t want to hear it!
