Great pants, very comfortable and functional! Especially considering the low price. I’m not sure how durable they’d be, but I only plan in wearing them to the local Ren Faire and they should be perfect for that. My only minor complaint is that these pants taper fairly significantly towards the bottom. I originally went with an XL thinking it may be a little big but I could tighten the waist. I am fairly large with a size 38 waist (US men’s), and when I got the XL it was actually fairly snug throughout. The problem was the calves: there is a stitch that goes around the circumference of the calf and has ZERO give to it. On the XL I could barely get the stitch over my ankles, and the stitch is supposed to be about mid- to upper-calf so this made the pants unwearable. I returned them and went for the XXXL (pictured) to be on the safe side, and these were perfect! The laced cuff portion was still too thin to go all the way around my calf/ankle, but I believe this is intentional to show off the lacing. As you can probably tell from the pictures, I’m a rather large guy, and my legs are very thick even for my size. For that reason I’m still giving this five stars, as I’m sure the average Joe would fit these pants well! But yeah, if you’re thicker than a milkshake, I recommend going a couple sizes larger than you think. Keep in mind that the waistline has a draw string, so even if they’re a little big on you they won’t fall down :)

**4 Stars – Good Quality, But Calves Run Tight** I purchased these costume pants for an event, and overall, I’m quite happy with the quality and fit. The material feels durable and well-made, perfect for a costume piece that still looks sharp. The waist and length fit true to size, and they were comfortable for the most part. However, the calves were way too tight for me, which made them a bit uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. I don’t have particularly large calves, so this was a bit surprising. That said, I’ll definitely be buying these again but will go with the next larger size to allow for more room in the legs. If you’re planning to wear them for a long event or have more muscular calves, I’d recommend sizing up. Otherwise, they’re a solid choice!

They look really really nice. Soft and comfortable, look decent with tennis shoes. The grommets for the laces are good quality, and the tie strings are too. The material is a little thin, but it's lightweight and looks good with period clothing or modern bowler shirts or a tee shirt. Highly recommend these.

For the cost, it's honestly amazing. I used it as a pirate for Halloween. Once they're tied right, they're very snug. Even though they're a little thin, the keep you pretty warm. The pockets are AMAZING, they actually have room for you to put things inside it, like phones and wallets. It's amazing for costume pants.

These pants are pretty good! They look nice and are a good cheap option for costume pants. However I am very short, 4’10’’ so the pants are way too long. The pants were also tight around my calves so I couldn’t make up for the length by just bunching them up. I decided to hem them and they fit great but just be aware- if you’re short with big calves you might have to hem these!

These are actually pretty nice pants. I got them for a Halloween costume and they were way more comfortable and well made than i thought they would be.

Very comfortable and a good fit. Light and breathable. Not bad for costume stuff.

If it weren't for my calves these would have fit perfectly. I bought the medium thinking with everyone saying the waist stretches I would be fine. I'm 5'3" with a 32" waist and 40" hips. What I did not account for were my beefy calves. I could the pants up but could not lace the calves. The tighter part was also cutting off my circulation. If it weren't for that they'd have been absolutely perfect. I returned them and ordered the next size up. Stay tuned. This may get updated to a 5 star if they fit. Edit: Updating to 5 stars because the large definitely is much more comfortable and can lace the calves now.
