Does this pj1 fast black engine & case paint require a primer coat?

No I painted it straight onto to both aluminum and cast motor parts. Just make sure it has something to adhere to it needs some kind of tooth to grab on it.

how many cans did you use to paint the whole engine?

Depends on the size of the engine Block . You don't paint the entire engine . I use if for VW engine cases .

Do you have to oven cure this paint?

No but t helps I have part on my bike from 1996 that still look new .I clean all parts heat to warm to the touch put on one light coat of PJ1 let sit for 5min then paint to cover put in a 125 deg oven for 1 hour then let cool

do these have yellow label? or black label lik new ones?
