What's the difference between this and xbu05z?

I believe I have one each. I bought one for work and liked enough to buy another one for home. Honestly I can't tell you what the difference is. I have'nt had them side by side. I put a 6 amp hour battery on them (generic) and lasts longer than I inticipated.

Battery not fitting i have makita 18v bl1815

Bl1815 only works with certain smaller tools, like impact drills. I believe the bl1820 is the smallest size that will work on the larger tools

Can you suck up water?

Absolutely not !! Doesn’t even suck DUST. THERE IS NO MOTOR FILTER so don’t do it.

How does this product do blowing snow off of a Jeep? Looking to be able to keep it in my Jeep to blow it off before going to work.

Probable not . I bought it to blow water off my auto after a washing it had a hard time doing that.
