42" UNIVERSAL DRAPERY PULL ROD BY JUMBL

This works really well for closing my blackout curtains with grommets on top. It is easy to hook a grommet and pull the curtain along the rod and is long enough to reach where I otherwise could not get to. It is true that the connection between the parts comes unscrewed in time, but so far this has not annoyed me enough to get out the glue and make a permanent fix. I am sure just a dab of glue on the parts before screwing together would cure this. Wish it were white as then it would blend better into the window frame when I hang it on the rod in the middle - but this is in a home office and the black is not a big deal there. If it were I could hang it behind the curtain on the inside of the rod. It is a sturdy metal so I am sure this will last longer than the curtains.

Very well made. Just the right amount of weight to do the job, but not too heavy to lift. Looks good hanging from the rod when not in use. I like the transportability of this device from one room to another so I do not have to purchase one for each window. I have used other devices to open my drapes, but this is perfectly designed for the purpose. I can easily slide grommet drapes over a sliding rod, even over the place where the two rods intersect. For the first time since I bought them, I can slide my clip-ring curtains over the rod to open and close them without climbing on a stool. The rod works well to even the folds in drapes. I didn't know how much I needed this item until I got it. It would make a great gift for anyone else with grommet-top curtains, especially ones that have furniture in front of them, so that one cannot easily reach the rods to open the drapes.

This works pretty well for what I need it for. It is a little wobbly though. It has to be twisted back together often for an item that is not used alot. The metal is sturdy though.

Definitely measure the length you need to stand and open your curtains from wherever you stand to open them and how far up they are on the wall. Additionally measure the circumference of the curtain rod and compare it to the opening of the "hook" on this rod. The pull is too short for my needs. And the hook is not wide enough for the curtain rod. It is definitely quality metal. However, you screw one end in the other and I find that such assemblies are always coming unscrewed. It is quite heavy and sturdy. Again quality made. It just didn't meet my needs. I guess I will have to try the tape method where you put tape on the top of the rod for the rings to slide over and not gets stuck on the sectional parts of the telescoping rods that I use.

This is a very handy tool. I no longer need it for a drapery pull and use it to hang decorations, hummingbird feeders, and hanging pots on my front porch and deck.

This drapery pull is very disappointing. I missed my return date and am very disappointed in the purchase. It keeps coming apart while I’m trying to push or pull my heavy blackout drapes. The rubber tip came off on first use. There is nothing to grip so it slides around in my hands and the hook end gets hung up on the grommets. It was a waste of my money. I ordered a different brand am very satisfied with. This brand went in the garbage can where it belongs

So much easier to move the curtains now! Standing on the couch or moving the bottom of the curtain -- or should I say "fighting" with the bottom of the curtain to move the top while it snags every couple of inches -- is WAY better. I was getting very stressed out prior to getting this. Thank you for helping to bring light back in my life! Great material, easy to use.

Wife and I both love the blackout blinds and how dark the room has become. Now if the dog would only get a watch and sleep in LOL

It came 5 minutes ago and it works well. Only criticism concerned the threads which strangely for a mechanical background I have were difficult to engage at first - the old dodge of going backwards, anti clockwise first, eventually found the right access point for them. Thanks people.
