Easy to use

I accidentally purchased this replacement trimmer line spool, so I didn’t end up using it—but it does appear to be well made. The line looks durable and neatly wound, and the dual-line design seems like it would provide consistent cutting performance for regular trimming. From what I can tell, it seems sturdy and properly constructed, and it arrived in good condition. Unfortunately, it wasn’t compatible with what I needed, which was my own mistake rather than an issue with the product itself. If this spool matches your trimmer model, it looks like it would be a solid replacement option. Just be sure to double-check compatibility before purchasing (lesson learned on my end!).

I was having a heck of a time finding the correct string for my Kobalt battery trimmer. After a few trips to Lowes I was left in frustration but I was able to find these on Amazon and BOOM I was back to trimming. Three spools in a package is a great deal and they work just as well as the originals from Kobalt.

it appears to be the same part that came with my green works weed eater. part 2101602. Steel seems to last longer. Be care full when installing ... keep the wire tight against the spool. But all in all very simple to install. Pop the cap off and pull out the old spool run the 2 wires through the 2 holds and snap in the new one put the cover cap on. make sure the wires are long enough.. about 3to 4 inches.. you lengthen the wire by pushing in the black button this alows the wire to be pulled out about 3/4 “ each time you push it in. This is the only way I could lengthen the wire as it wore down. Not by hitting it on the ground as some weed eaters . Then get to work.

They sent me the wrong items. I ordered 80 v trimmer line pre assembled. I got three items that 3 times smaller than would fit my 80V edger. I trusted them. I didn’t open it until after the return date had passed. Greenworks is not to be trusted.

This Works product is easy to use but ever roll of dual line tangles so it has to be taken apart and rewrapped. The model can't take any attatchments . The electric lines to feed the string when broken runs the whole length of the tool. Long lasting battery. I will try a lighter line next order to see if that helps.

These are easy to install and work great. The string seems to last quite a while to - which is nice. I like that I don't have to manually wind the spool with string. Just open the trimmer head and pop it in and you're good to go.

Does not fit a Greenworks G40LT strimmers.

I have purchased this product before and like the last time this product met my standards with regard to performance, easy delivery and best value for the money. I will continue to purchase this as long as I own the weed trimmer.
