Not bad at all
I've tried many different brands, i liked this one. It does have that "stevia" aftertaste to it but it doesn't bother me. It blends very easily, it tastes good and it's healthy.

This is my favorite protein powder!
All of Marigold’s grass fed whey isolate and collagen protein powders are amazing, but this rich chocolate malt is my absolute favorite! I make a chocolate “milk” before bed almost every night and it makes hitting my protein easy and it taste like the chocolate malt carnation instant breakfast I grew up on. Very nostalgic and I love that it’s grass fed, sugar-free and doesn’t have any junk in it.

Clean & tasty!
I love this product. I have it as well as the vanilla flavor on Subscribe & Save. My only complaint is the price for the amount that you get. Hence, the 4 stars. I really wish that it was also available in bulk at a slightly more economical price so that I could actually buy more!

Best protein powder on the market
I have purchased malt, vanilla numerous times now I’m reordering and getting the peanut butter. I sweeten my coffee with the vanilla when I open my eating window. If I make a smoothie I use the chocolate malt . Now nasty taste from sweeteners please never change this awesome product

Formula changed?!
MIXES GREAT IN COOL WATER. CHOCOLATE FLAVOR TASTES LIKE SWISS MISS COCAO. ONLY DOWNSIDE IS A SLIGHT BITTER AFTERTASTE FROM THE STEVIA, WHICH IS A FAIR TRADE OFF TO HAVING NO ADDED SUGAR. September 2024 update: I have used at least a half dozen bags. Originally I gave this 5 stars. It used to mix well in just cold water, now it partially clumps up along the top and no amount of mixing will get it all to dissolve so you end-up wasting a small portion every time. It still tastes the same though. Unfortunately, I won’t be buying anymore until they fix this problem and I am looking for a better substitute.
