This is the Best thing I've ever bought. I can make a Big Lasagna, or Roast a large piece of meat or do a Casserole! Love it and am going to buy one for a gift to my brother.

This is a terrific pyrex 2 in 1. Great thing about glass, no chemicals, super easy wash in the dishwasher and the lid works as a more shallower pan if you want. A terrific purchase. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. This was a gift I bought for myself just before my 50th birthday. I had been seeking a casserole/lasagna pan set for decades, in particular I wanted one with a food safe lid I could use in oven. I saw this was upcoming on prime day and knew it was there for me ... And it could be use as two separate dishes or a lidded set. What a fantastic birthday gift I received that day. I prefer to use earthenware material over plastic and aluminum. I have been using this Pyrex set often. I have made casserole, meatloaf, pork tenderloin and seafood meals, I marinated ribs and chicken then cooking after they marinaded and also to reheat leftovers, or even make a new messy yet delicious mix of whatever I had left. Storage is simple, as you can see in the included photos. I really like this pan set. Everyone, PLEASE know that you MUST allow pans made with clay, ceramic and/or glass, including Pyrex, get to room temperature before shocking it with heat or freezing temperature. Do not put it straight from freezer to heated stove or hot stove to freezer. When I was younger and naive I lost many of the Pyrex, clay, glass and ceramic ware I initially invested my hard earned money on and did not know what I did wrong when they would break, I did not drop or smash it, I was confused. That was until I had a cool 12 inch pizza stone. It smashed inside my oven. At that point I had it. After searching what I did to cause this, I learned my mistake was putting a frozen pizza on top of a clay pizza stone and heating it, causing thermal shock and that was what caused the pizza stone to smash in my oven. Now I understood why my other glass, clay or ceramic ware broke in same fashion. Ever since I have been blessed to have fully intact clay, ceramic, Pyrex and regular glass ware. I love using Pyrex over any kind of plastic containers to store, prepare, heat and serve food. Now I love it even more now that I have the knowledge on how to maintain my kitchenware safely intact. This is a great pan set for things I mentioned cooking and I imagine it being wonderful for the plethora of many other recipes out there. A 4 star review by me is saying it is a great product. I only give 5 stars if a product or company goes above and beyond. This Pyrex set is definitely worth every penny

I really like this covered casserole. It is made of good heavy glass and the handles are ample to handle the hot dish using oven mitts. I thought this was the same as the Pyrex 8" square baking dish sold on Amazon with a plastic lid - no glass lid - for storage but it is not. This is an oblong 2 qt dish. I wish now I had opted to buy the 2-casserole set of these also sold on Amazon as they have them at a great price too. I do wish Pyrex offered larger size Grab casseroles with glass lids and the matching plastic lids for storage. I must rave about the shipping. The casserole did not come with it's own box but it was wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap. The really neat thing was the lid was shipped face up in a PLASTIC nesting piece cradled in the dish opening. Very secure and a great idea. I am using the plastic nest myself when I store the casserole in my pantry. Amazon shipped super fast as usual. Very pleased with this purchase and may opt to buy additional sets.

Great product, but too heavy for my arthritic hands. If you can manage a cast iron skillet this may become your go to oven roasting pan for stew and brisket . With a little soaking it is easy to clean.

Nach langem, langem Suchen nach einer Kasserolle mit Deckel und tauglichen Griffen aus umweltfreundlichem Material bin ich bei Pyrex endlich fündig geworden. Wie es aussieht, scheint das überhaupt die einzige Kasserolle auf dem Markt zu sein, die all meine Vorgaben erfüllt. "Einzige" meine ich wortwörtlich, denn nicht einmal Pyrex selbst bietet diese Form noch ein einer anderen Größe an. Das ist sehr schade, denn ich hätte sie mir sofort noch mal in einer größeren Variante für 3-4 Personen gekauft. Jedenfalls ist diese Kasserolle von sehr guter Qualität, schön anzuschauen und braucht sich auch auf dem Esstisch nicht zu verstecken. Sie eignet sich für Aufläufe für 2 Personen und funktioniert im Backofen sehr gut. Ganz toll finde ich die Handgriffe, an denen man die Form sicher aus dem Backofen heben, durch die Küche tragen und auf den Tisch stellen kann. Auch der Deckel hat einen richtigen Griff, den man auch mit Topflappen noch gut und sicher greifen kann. Klasse auch, dass die Form aus Borosilikatglas nicht so schwer ist, dass man sie schon leer kaum noch hochheben kann. Das relativ geringe Gewicht zusammen mit den tauglichen Handgriffen überzeugen: Für Gesunde ist das einfach nur bequem, für Menschen mit Handicap oder für Ältere ist das notwendig und einfach viel, viel sicherer. Außerdem ist die Kasserolle aus Glas und damit viel umweltfreundlicher als die vielen beschichteten Alternativen. Die Glasform lässt sich hinterher rasch und einfach spülen, was ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist. Der Preis für die tolle Form ist mehr als angemessen. Da sie aber direkt aus den USA versandt wird und die Versandkosten mitunter höher als der Artikelpreis sind, empfiehlt es sich, auf ein Angebot mit Gratisversand zu warten. Der Versand dauert ca. zwei Wochen, die Verpackung war gut. Ich war schon auf den ersten Blick schockverliebt in diese Kasserolle, ich kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
