You have to continue. First time will kill lice. But mites will still be visible. But follow directions. It WILL do it's job! This stuff does work! Good luck!

According to the instructions included in the kit, the applications per this kit depend on the hair length of the individual receiving the treatment. There are no specific measurements but this is how the instructions read. Applications per bottle for the following hair length: Short - Up to 4 Medium - 2-3 Long - 1-2 I hope this helps!
